I first became interested in Armor Screen in the early nineties after Hurricane Andrew and learning that the National Hurricane Center used them. 16 years ago, after moving to Florida's west coast, I had them installed for my front porch area and lanai. (I have impact windows elsewhere.) I deploy them for every hurricane that heads this way, and they work beautifully. When Hurricane Ian destroyed my roof and pool cage in 2022, the twisted, dangling, and very sharp remnants of the aluminum struts finally sawed a few holes in two curtains. Yet the curtains were unyielding, protecting all my glass doors and ultimately saving the interior of my house during eight hours of being battered by 150 mph winds. I contacted Armor Screen about replacement screens and their representative, Sarah Alvarez, was kind, understanding, and patient as I navigated all of the other factors involved in repairing my home. Their team located the original order and, when I gave the go-ahead, had the replacements ready within six weeks. She even made sure that the shipping date wouldn't conflict with any of my planned travel. I cannot say enough about about how impressed I am with Armor Screen's service, professionalism, and the strength and quality of their product. I recommend them to all my friends who live along the Hurricane Highway.

We have had Armor Screen on our home for 10 years. We have chosen a beautiful color that accents our home and actually looks beautiful while installed during the season. It breathes, allows light into the home and makes protection very livable, without turning the home into a dark cave as other systems do. We have been through 4 Hurricanes with it with no incursions of debris or water. It is easy to rinse off and store for the next season. It still looks new and gives us great peace of mind during trying times. For some reason we had problems with some of the Stainless Buttons, which were of the highest quality of Stainless available. Our installer left us in the lurch and did not respond after we had contacted him several times about deterioration of the Stainless hardware. After contacting Armor Screen directly, they personally guided us through the removal and replaced the hardware immediately. The company, Armor Screen, was concerned about the hardware from the outset and replaced it to no expense to us. It is expensive hardware and Armor Screen never once was concerned about their expense, their only concern was to see us as happy and confident customers of their awesome product. I own Armor Screens for over 10 years in my Mexican condo in the Riviera Maya. This past year one of the screens ripped during a hurricane and I needed to repair it. Given Armor Screen is located in South Florida, my only options were to travel with the screen to Seattle, WA> and then ship it to Armor Screen to repair then return via a shipping carrier to Seattle. Well, I subsequently had occasion to visit a friend in Boca Raton for a few days. Therefore, I decided to take the screen with me to drop it off to Armor Screen. When I shared that I was there for only 5 days, they said that they would try to repair it in time for my return. And...they did!! They were very understanding and accommodating!! Great service attitude and fine craftsmanship to add!! Their product is property & life saving!! Thank you Armor Screen team!!

Initial phone enquiry was friendly and professional and sent me a nice brochure, but after I requested a quote they contacted me and I was amazed they (salesman)were going to give me a price for supply and installation based only on pictures of the area to be covered that they wanted me to send them. They weren’t willing to come and take a look on site. When I got the quote it was TWICE the price of their competitor who by the way came on site to quote. That company just installed the new system and we are very happy with their installation of the cloth shutters. In fact we're very pleased with the whole experience from quote to final installation.

We've had armor screen for our patio since 2007. I found the advertisement about watching a hurricane from behind the screen hard to believe, but I chose to take a chance in the product so I pulled the trigger. Twelve years later I can tell you I watched hurricane Irma take down one of our trees while standing behind the screen. I recommend you stay inside but it works as advertised.

The screens lay on the glass so the concept is to keep anything from flying into the house after the windows break.
The spikes they place all around the front door are an accident waiting to injure a body quite badly.
I asked the salesman to come take a look. He is not interested. He got his money. Over $3380.00.
Scam operation. Should have listened to my red flag.
