Ownership down my old review which was of me bringing in my system for diagnosis and then giving me a fair assessment of how much it would cost to diagnose, but bashing my custom PC build based on personal choices that made sense for me. They’re knowledgeable, but stuck up and it seemed like they had a god complex.

If I tell you the system isn’t thermal throttling, it’s not thermal throttling. You don’t have to go “oh your case is small and stupid you should buy a bigger one,” especially after I explained the reason I got a smaller one is portability. It got to the point where it was downright insulting.

There’s local options with better customer service (one of which helped me diagnose the issue over the phone in 5 minutes). Only reason they don’t get one star is that they were honest about how much it would cost
and that’s something I have to give them credit for.

And to whoever checks the ratings on google maps from the shop, if you take down my review again erroneously I’m reporting this on google and I won’t stop. You can’t just suppress customer voices because you don’t like them.

This company reflects a very ethically valid reason to be going strong in our community. We need their honesty and professionalism as it’s rare to find such well educated teams working so successfully on our computers. Everyone there has a university education from the best Universities. They are articulate, explaining everything in detail at a very reasonable rate . Do not hesitate to go to their shop you won’t be disappointed. I was told by lies by Best Buy and almost salvaged my laptop and Applied computers Saved the day with an honest and easy fix!! Lesson learned.

Great service and quick turnaround. My trackpad stopped working so I took my laptop in, the team quickly diagnosed the issue which was a bulging battery. They quoted a very reasonable price for the part and installation and I had my laptop back within a few days in practically new condition. Would highly recommend these guys for any electronics repairs.

These guys are great. I had a defective hard drive that had a problem with the circuitry and they were able to go in and save the data. It would have cost me a great deal more money if I had gone elsewhere. They are always honest and upfront with me and help me with my computer needs. You should definitely go here. When I have gone to Best Buy in the past, they have done almost everything and the Geek Squad are annoying, uneducated, and unhelpful - it is sort of like the opposite at Applied Computer Technology.

What a great experience. I brought in a high end home office printer that refused to work with a very vague error message. In less than 24 hr they cleaned and repaired it and it works like new. Very friendly and helpful. Would strongly recommend. Cost me way less than buying a similar new printer and helped me avoid one more thing in a landfill and more boxes to breakdown. They will be my go to repair shop for computer equipment moving forward.

The logic board on my 2011 Macbook Pro failed and I went into Applied Computer during the week prior to final exams with the greatest of optimism that I would see my device made available to me in time to avoid having to plead with any one of my professors. Applied Computers did everything possible to enable my optimism to become a reality. I received my computer fully fixed and on time. While the logic board was the greatest concern they also did an excellent job replacing my keyboard which had a number of faulty keys, and did so in the same window of time as they had prescribed for the logic board only. Not only that, they also tightened the screen that had become somewhat loose, and fixed the frayed wires exposed on my charger.

Noll Operations

My son used his MacbookPro Retina Display as a DJ platform at a college party. Needless to say, by the end of the night, it was sitting in beer and had candle wax on it. Apple pretty much wanted the moon to take it apart, so i took it to Applied. Carlos is amazing. The first thing he said was, "this computer is too nice NOT to fix it and I will get that done". He fixed it on time, on budget and when I picked it up, it looked brand new. It will now be my office video editing deck! Kudo's to Carlos for saving me a huge headache and for being such a pleasure to work with.
