This is one of my favorite parks in this area. The beach is nice and quiet. It has a boat ramp as well. There is shade and benches. There are restrooms, changing rooms and plants of parking. Just outside the park along the bike path to the north is an eagles' nest. You can get quite close and observe the eagles and their babies. There are usually some photographers and bird enthusiasts there.

We enjoy Anclote River Park from time to time.
No user fees, lots of parking, nice drive to get there, at least the latter part of the drive once you leave US19, and decent beach and swimming.
So, obviously it’s not Clearwater or Belaire, but sandy beach all the same.
If you keep your eyes on the water, and are there for the day, you are likely to see a pod of dolphins go by.
It is nice even watching the pelicans glide along the water.
So if you are looking for a low key, peaceful outing this might be your spot.

Great Dock, there are 2 main ramps and 2 smaller ones; however, the one ramp is closed. They also have a loading dock to pull over to once your boat is in the water to keep the ramps clear and free flowing. Parking is $10.00 for 24 hours. Fair warning, though, it can get busy on weekends and crazy on holidays. It is great for heading into the Sponge Docks or out to Anclote Island.

Cool good sized park with plenty of parking. Nice beach with plenty sun and trees for shade. Have picnic tables and grills to use with nice gazebo and bathroom. Nice swimming area roped off for safety! Located right at point where river meets gulf so you also watch boats all day also!

Very nice park with beach and playground. There are lots of trees so they have many shaded areas. Not very busy at all. Watching the boats going back and forth was very relaxing. We will return.

A beautiful park to walk, swim, launch a boat, or just sit and enjoy the ☀️ sunshine. Rental shelters with picnic tables and barbecues. A beautiful beach cordoned off for swimming.
