Donny runs a great shop! They powder coated my grille for my Land Cruiser in the photo below black and the lettering to match the body paint. They did a custom stencil for the lettering and made sure it came out looking good redoing it a few times! I would recommend their shop highly.

This is a family business. I find it easier to stop by and ask questions to get a feel for the place. The three times I was there 1) asking questions getting a feel for the shop 2) dropping off my 5 Pontiac wheels off my 1970 trans am. The wheels were in BAD shape. 3) Picking them up. I’m 66 years old. Work with a lot of shops in Anchorage in the last 45 years. Service at counter 5 stars. Date promise completion time 5 Stars. The work on wheels and sand blasting. 5 stars. Thanks Donny, 5 stars to him too.

I asked them to go a little outside the lines and powder coat my fat bike as sparkly as possible. They really listened to what I was asking for and got super excited and involved. In the end they did a fantastic job and kept it true to what I was looking for. Don and his crew took a real personal approach to handling and powder coating my bike frame. I appreciate the looks of excitement on their faces when they brought my frame out and I thank them for the open communication and quick service. I highly recommend speaking with Don, and everyone else in there, about the fun ideas you have.

Very customer oriented and accommodating. They pick up the phone and are helpful with pricing. (The other places I called in town for pricing either never picked up or never returned my call)
I took them some railing to coat and I asked them if they could expedite, which they said they would try to turn it around by the end of the week. They were able to get it done in only 3 days and it came out looking great.

I can't recommend Dave and his team enough at ACPC. They did an awesome job on the subframe for my restoration project! They really went far above and beyond for me. If you want it done right then bring it to these guys. They are great people!

A year or so ago they "refinished" our metal railings for our indoor stair way - beautiful job! Not that expensive and really worth doing. I almost wish I had more items to do. Great people to work with as well.

Went in to get my wheels powder coated a nice blue. They ran out of paint on the last wheel... had to order more paint and charged me an extra $40 to order the paint. Then they call me a few days later and said they are ready.

Went to look at the rims in a DARK room with no light and they look fine. they went on - how they had to "redo" them... all lies!!!!

first time i went there they should me the light rim and told me to match it they had to re paint it because they already did the clear coat on it....

when i got home... into the light - the rim was just added more clear to it to try to get it dark like the other 3 wheels....

Paid an extra $40 for no reason (because they didn't order more color paint) they DIDNT redo the bad wheel. and now after they are in my garage (not even on my car yet) it is 100% noticeable what they did!!!

LAZY - i even tipped them an extra $50 because of the hard work and the re paint... which never happen now i have 3 wheels that look good and one that has less color and they didn't redo like they promised..

LIED TO THE CUSTOMER, TRIED TO GO CHEAP ROUTE OUT, VERY DISAPPOINTED. Last time i will be using them and i will be trying the guys by the harbor - I Hear GREAT things from friends and will put my business over there.

Very disappointed with my $650 powder coated wheels. :-/ I can buy new rims for around 200-250 a pop lol that actually MATCH

HAD THEM ON FOR little over 2 weeks -------- now after cleaning them and putting wax on them and making sure my new wheels are always 100% good looking - i noticed bubbles already..... yes i guess prep work on cleaning brand new wheels wasn't on the todo.... so brand new rims no scratches or scuff marks.. has now bubbles .. these wheels won't last this summer... this coming up winter when i put my black wheels back on for winter.. i will look to either get them re-done for another gob of money else where.... or see if i can't buy blue rims from the factory and not deal with it. just disappointing when they look good from far away, and look ugly when inspecting them.

Go up
