Anatoly’s is our go-to and absolute favorite for menswear and women’s alterations. I looked everywhere (for years) for a tailor capable of making sweaters and not only could Anatolys do it, they have so many options to customize it to my husbands very specific requirements! We go every year to get a new sweater based off his measurements and we can get tweaks based on the fabric weight or other great suggestions.

I’ve had wedding guest dresses altered and hemmed as well. My husband also has had jeans taken in. It’s an absolute joy being a customer here!

I had to buy a suit from a big chain retailer to ensure it matched the rest of the wedding party. The guys at Anatoly's fixed every part of the suit, including jacket, vest and pants. They recommended alterations I would not have spotted, but made a huge difference. I'm glad I got a real tailor to work on it instead of having it done in-house at the chain store. It fits perfectly!

True professionals. Very knowledgeable and they work with you on what you want and like. They consult you on what looks better and what doesn't, but at the end of the day its up to you. They're not perfect, but through their work you can tell their experience, knowledge and hard work gets them as close as humanly possible.

As for the suit - I got it from their line and they way they tailored it....I never would have thought I'd get so many compliments on a suit. 10/10 will only get any suits from them in the future.

This shop is amazing. Simply amazing. I have been a customer for nearly 10 years. They are skilled, always professional, and at an extremely reasonable price point. They consistently over deliver.

What makes this shop truly exceptional is their customer service. They approach tailoring as a "craft" and not simply a service. This is rare in today's world. I would travel great distances to give them my business, and you should too. Fortunately they are local in the East Bay!

I do not understand why this place has such a good rating. They are rude and disrespectful towards women. I went in on a support request from AJ’s and the owner was downright rude to me. AJ’s worked out that Anatoly’s could provide a quick turnaround on a simple fix. And the owner agreed. Demanding I tell him what to do to the dress and would not let me try it on to show him for his opinion on what needs to be done to make the dress work for my stature. When I asked if he works on dresses, he demanded I leave. Why would I walk into an alterations shop and have to tell them what to do? I am not the professional, they are…supposed to be. And obviously not in any manner. And the place reeked of strong cologne. Avoid at all costs. In my opinion, looking at the interior and how I was treated this place does not allow for inclusion!

I could not thank K and the entire Anatoly family enough for their help with my Made to Measure suit for my wedding! My wedding suit journey with them started January 2020 as I planned to get married in June 2020. Like many other Covid brides, that all got postponed and through the entire year of waiting, K was extremely patient and supportive throughout the whole process. By the time plans were finalized to get married in July 2021, I went to see K at the Anatoly store to try on my suit for the first time since our initial appointment one year later. I had lost 35 lbs since our initial appointment and because of this, I was swimming in the suit and K had to basically make me a new suit that fit my new body! A couple of fittings and tweaks later...my suit was perfect. Everyone at Anatoly's is extremely knowledgeable about how a suit should fit and they will give you their honest opinion if something does not look right. Being a woman and finding a suit that fits is extremely hard but K made the whole process super easy and made me feel comfortable the entire time. He will not let you walk out the door until you are completely satisfied. I will definitely be coming back to get more suits made and the most exciting thing is that Anatoly's will be coming out with Made to Measure women's suits!

Great place for a custom suit! My cousin recommended this shop to us after going for his wedding. Both my brother in law and I went here for our wedding suits. They have an abundance of fabric. And can customize to the slightest detail. Highly recommend.
