Went to Alro Metals Outlet to get sheet metal in specific cut sizes. The price they quoted me seemed high so I went a couple miles due north and got the same metal at least 30 percent lower in price. Apples to apples comparison. Same gauge metal and same size G-90 CS. I'm thinking they saw a retail sucker they could get a little extra $$$$ from. Alro you have a great selection and easy to browse thru but the price difference justifies driving just 5 minutes further north for the savings.

I've been purchasing from the Sarasota Alro metals outlet for years now and have received great customer service from the group of guys working there. They have what I need and will cut the lengths I ask for. If they don't have it in stock they can have it for me the next day usually. It's a well kept store and easy to shop.

The business I work for has been purchasing material from Alro for years now and I am very satisfied with their customer service. One really nice thing that I appreciate is that they will often look in their remnants to see if they can fill my order, let me know AND adjust the price in our favor. Requests for quotes are returned same day, sometimes within minutes, and orders are usually cut and available in that same day. On a number of occasions, I've had that Friday afternoon email pop up with some surprise parts I need to miraculously have available by Monday morning... and it always amazes me that I could call Alro late on a Friday afternoon for emergency material and have it available before close. This place has got me out of some serious holes and I couldn't recommend them more. Keep up the great work!

Not only a great place, but it's associates make it greater! I came over last Tuesday, with some very specific and special needs for my artwork. Mr. Francis Cole, was not only professional and skillful, but also tried (and succeeded!!!!) his best to answer my special requirements.
