Purchased a pack of Alpine Meats hot dogs from the grocery store and one of them had a large piece of plastic inside of it. The only reason I noticed this was because I like to score my hot dogs before cooking. I'm glad I didn't cook it whole and then serve it to someone else or a child who could have choked on it. I always buy this brand because of their quality hot dogs instead of other brands made from mystery meat, however that may have to change due to this experience.

Grew up eating Alpine bologna and Alpine hot dogs. My grandparents owned a little grocery deli mart and my mama worked there as a teen. Alpine was part of the family before I was you could say. I stop at a country market every time I go back to visit family and buy several pounds of bologna to keep the magic alive. Now I live in Phoenix and I wish you would send some my way. There’s got to be a carniceria or deli here that wants to corner the market on Alpine products in Metropolitan Phoenix!

Have been enjoying alpine hot dogs for 50 years. I have to say they are the best hot dogs that you can buy. Any way you fix them they are great. I like them right out of the fridge. Don't change anything they are great.

My Daughter won a ham in 12/12 from Alpine meats. The best buy date was 2/10/12. I called Alpine meats to ask them about the date. The man "Roy" pretty much said she won the ham and oh well. The Alpine meats website says to consume the products within 2/3 months. The man I talked to said the website is wrong. Really? No replacement offered. Make sure to check your dates if you purchase from this company. No wonder Stockton is the biggest crap hole in the USA.
