I was sent a summons in error—I vote in a different county. The questionnaire would not let me correct my address, so I had no choice but to call.

After 29 minutes on hold, the woman answering the call simply said something to me and hung up on me without bothering to let me ask a follow up question.

Between the Registrar and Court, I’m VERY glad not to be a permanent resident of Alameda County.

The courthouse is an old building, however, it’s yards away from Lake Merritt.

Being a Los Angeles boy and visiting a court with an actual body of water was a treat. I enjoyed my stay, as brief as it was in Oakland, and I look forward to coming back .

Useless. Remodel useless. I tried to get help looking Something up on the computers they didn't work. Noone would help me. Just kept giving a sheet of paper hightlinging anywhere else to go. The guy at the window does magic with the highlighters. Anything else your screwed

I have to admit I'm stoked by the excellent customer service in records - Room 107. I am extremely happy with the clerk helping me, but as I spent a few hours there, I witnessed how other clerks are helping other customers. I am absolutely and happily amazed!
I wish all government institution clerks were as pleasant and helpful as the staff at this location!

Huge thank you to the entire self help phone line staff! The person I spoke with today was incredibly helpful and informative. I did not get her name. But, called at about 2pm 3/7/2024. Hope whomever from hr reads this can pass this person the praise.

Restraining order department is like going to the dmv on halloween. Straight nightmare for weeks! Do they purposely hire people who are terrible at customer service? I had to go down there 4 times!!! Because everytime a different agent gave me different information and/or the wrong forns. First off, I booked an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait in line. Although I checked in 15 mins early I wasn't seen until 20 mins into my appointment because no one bothered to check the reservation system. When I asked why they said no one ever uses it. Well strike 1. Secondly, I tried to call for a solid 10 days at the prescribed times to the prescribed numbers and no one picked up. NO ONE. I had to discharge from the hospital I was being treated at just to go down there and be called a liar when I told the agent I couldn't get a call through to a human being. Do you think I would have discharged from the hospital if there was ANYONE answering the phones. Strike 2. After all that on my way home I called the same department the agent wtold me to call and SURPRISE no one picked up. Strike 3. Find another job if you don't like serving the public.
