I contacted Action Welding and Marine Fabrication at the advice of 3 different industrial welders I have known for a while.
My aluminum frame for my fiberglass hard top on my Center Council boat was cracking every time I took the boat out. We tried having it welded and added structural supports. It cracked even more in different places. I figured it was metal fatigue and wanted to replace the frame.
Bruce answered and I told him what was happening and sent him some photos. He gave me an estimate. I brought the boat down and Bruce and his team took it from there. I told him I run the boat hard so make it strong!
We also decided to have a shade added to the hard top.
The finished product is better than I could ask for. I haven’t found a flaw yet. The skill of these craftsmen is abundantly clear. This frame is STRONG! It looks remarkable and you can see the thought and engineering that were put into this. The welds are impeccable.
They also handled all the in-rigging and re-rigging of everything on the top.
The new tube wall thickness is way thicker and tube size is larger than the OEM frame.
Do yourself a favor. Call Action and let them do their thing, then enjoy your boat!

Bruce Ramsey over at Action Welding and Marine fabrication did an absolutely fantastic job on our Sea Hunt!!! We highly recommend them!! There is a wait list to get your boat into their shop for a reason.. they know what they are doing. Period.

We tested our new T-Top and stand-thru observation area with an aft extendable top the other day offshore, and I cannot tell you how much better this boat is now!!! THANK YOU AGAIN BRUCE!!!

The best review I've ever given on Google, this is from Facebook. This goes out to Bruce, and Dale. My boat was brought to Action prior to Hurr. Helene for a back rest install on my Beavertail Skiff. The work was PERFECT. But more than that they kept the boat until after after Hurr. Milton a 9 ft surge in my neighborhood. They literally saved my boat, or it would have been floating somewhere in Charlotte Harbor. I can't say enough or give any higher recommendation to anyone I've ever reviewed. These folks were a Godsend, literally. Please use them, they are the Best.

Customer Service is by far the best with calls during the building process in order to ensure what is sought after. I had a tower put on my Maverick and I couldn't believe the craftsmanship. They did the leaning post on my 1720 key west , years ago .it made the whole boat feel better when I was driving . It's held up great , they recommended the dry storage under it , turns out I can't live without it ..I gotta schedule a appointment for the bigger new boat now ..
