Herbert was phenomenal. We met him during a wedding convention and his work immediately stood out amongst the other vendors there. He's got a wonderful array of tools to suit any wedding or event. He shot our intimate 35 person wedding and was professional, courteous and prepared. He's got great vision for how to best capture an event. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone who wants a personalized, artistic capture of their important day. I can't recommend Herbert and A Colored Mind highly enough! I hired him to do both my wedding video as well as photography and I was beyond happy with both! Herbert was responsive, professional, carries his own insurance (a venue requirement), and most importantly creates the most cinematic quality video to remember your special day. Our photos are also amazing and the two photographers on site were extremely polite, friendly, and had a keen eye for the perfect angles. Including a sunset photo for reference. I know it's stressful choosing your wedding photographer and videographer but trust me you are in excellent hands with this talented team!

Herbert was very professional from the initial phone discussion we had and through negotiating and signing the contract. He was very responsive before and after the wedding as well which made me feel very taken care of and at ease. Herbert ended up having a month of change of plans and was unable to shoot my wedding himself but he sent his perfectly qualified colleague Chris who was a pleasure to work with on my wedding day. Herbert has such a beautiful way of editing the footage and telling your wedding in a story. Our experience with Herbert (our videographer) and Angelina (our photographer) was quite pleasant. On our wedding day, they both arrived early and started photographing as well as video recording. They sure have their pace and design for their work. As I have noticed, multiple instruments including a drone, several stationed cameras and lighting devices were brought to the venue, so Herbert could film our ceremony from diverse angles. Though our plan was tight on schedule, they managed to take some out-of-venue amazing photos and footage for us. They worked till late night as the wedding had ended, and we appreciate their dedication. We are looking forward to our video highlight and final pictures!

A Colored Mind's services are very reasonably priced for the Southern California region. Herbert is super talented at what he does. The finished product was so beautiful - he captures cinematography and emotions so well! Our cousin said it was the best wedding video he’s ever seen.

I also appreciated that he was punctual on the wedding day and even stayed a little bit beyond our contracted hours to capture as much footage as he could to make our video great.
