We hosted a list post reception for our son and daughter-in-law. We rented the entire in for the weekend, and then had a lovely dinner for 100 people. The innkeepers were incredible. They were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The grounds are beautifully kept, and we enjoyed an evening under the stars by the fire. This is truly an exceptional location for a family gathering, and also for a lovely weekend in the Oregon wine country. We highly recommend Brookside.

Such an amazingly beautiful place! Just spent a wedding here and it was well worth the trip. The bathrooms are large and excessively comfortable and the grounds are stunning. There was nothing we lacked and even felt throughout the wedding like we were on vacation. A beautiful spot to be for the entire family!

If you want to spend some time in Oregon's wine country and have a group, this place is excellent. Several comfortable rooms off the spacious main space with fireplace, commercial level kitchen and food prep area, dining room big enough for 20-25 people. Large grassy areas are great for families or tossing a ball, backs onto woods so lovely green / nature vibe, minutes from hiking and world class wineries. Highly recommend!

The Inn is fresh and clean, off the beaten path and quiet. Lovely property with a pond and garden. Very nice getaway. The Innkeepers are lovely folks and the dog as well is sweet, keeping the chickens in line. The concept is to relax therefore the lack of tv in your room and spotty wifi (due to heatwave) really encourage this. I did not have cell service either which was not an issue really but that is sprint for you. Breakfast was delicious and a friendly interaction with the Innkeepers and guests. I would stay again, seems like a perfect location for visiting the wine country, we were there for one night only on a road trip so some wine tasting in the future may be in order. Also, seems like a great family reunion location.

Wife and I stayed here in August 2016. Photos are accurate: the space is beautiful. Location is great: Carlton is an awesome base to stay if you are hitting any of the Ribbon Ridge/Dundee wineries. We were told the rooms were renovated a year ago or so, and that looks/feels accurate. Breakfast is a little family style, vs. white glove service etc. but that was fine for me and my wife. Husband and wife team run the inn, and cook breakfast from scratch and are a delight. Grounds are beautiful with a lake, trees, trails, acres of greenery we did not explore, a vegetable garden, fresh-on-premise eggs etc. Just a very good location in the heart of wine country for a picturesque & quiet scene. Owner Jerry was able to arrange some last minute tastings with the hospitality director of one of the more well regarded wineries in the area - big plus for that!

A warning to future brides: I do not recommend this as a wedding venue. As everyone has said, this is a beautiful setting. The property has so much potential, and won us over when we toured it 8 months before our wedding.

We rented the two homes for our wedding this summer (August 2019) though the current property management company, Lifestyle Properties. To say the least, the plumbing on the property is a mess. We arrived the night before our wedding to a broken dishwasher and sink drain in the kitchen that had been advertised to us as being a full catering kitchen. Instead of being able to enjoy the rehearsal dinner, my family had to spend the evening hand washing dishes and cleaning up the mess from the flooded sink. Instead of fixing the dishwasher, a technician informed us that it would have to be replaced entirely, meaning we had to hand wash all dishes for the entire weekend. Had we known this would have been the case, we would have changed our catering plan entirely for the wedding.

The water pressure was incredibly low in the main house all weekend, not sure why. One of my bridesmaids had to take a bath because the water in her shower was merely a trickle.

To any of the wedding guests who did not stay at the property, it was a beautiful event. To my most important and closest guests, it was a chaotic weekend spent hand washing dishes.

If you’re looking for somewhere to relax and recharge, I cannot recommend this quiet retreat highly enough. The land is absolutely beautiful and the accommodations are very modern and comfortable. But (like most places in Oregon Wine Country) it’s the people behind the scenes that enhance the experience and make it truly remarkable. The Inn keeprs Jerry and Erika are great hosts and quick to make you feel at home. Their passion for the inn and hospitality is evident.||||The sprawling estate is absolutely breathtaking and includes a large pond (stocked with fish), a fire pit, hiking trails, gorgeous gardens and landscapes, several water features, and even a stunning prayer / mediation house that overlooks the pond.

We stayed four nights at this lovely inn. It was very well appointed, quiet and very well hosted by Jerry and Erica Tindall.|The breakfast was wonderful, and the grounds were beautiful. We would definitely return to this well located and beautiful place when we want to do more wine tasting in the Willamette Valley. ||Jerry and Ericka are special people that really rounded out a great experience.
