The Delaware is such an awesome event space and even more so, an amazing team! Courtney and the crew made our wedding party run seamlessly. From coordination of the event, communication with the vendors, the coffee/bar service and everything in between, there was no detail left behind. The space itself is beautiful. My husband and his guys enjoyed playing games upstairs and my gals love the private suite to get ready in. Would recommend for any event !

Courtney and her team were incredibly helpful, professional and customer oriented. They made our evening so easy. I hired Courtney as the wedding coordinator and it was worth every penny. She and her team took care of every detail. They checked in with me, MOB, the bride, and the MOG multiple times throughout the evening to insure we had everything we needed.
The space itself was super clean, easy to use and met all our needs. Using the coffee bar provided an added benefit as our friends and family really enjoyed all the coffees and the terrific barista!
The outdoor space was fun and there were many competitive games of corn hole played that night.
Everyone had a great time and all our needs were met.
The bride and groom got to have their magical night thanks to the Delaware.

We hosted our son’s birthday party at The Delaware Event Space today, and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, and the owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The space itself was beautiful and worked perfectly for all the activities we had planned.

As any mom knows, something always gets left behind, and today it was the forks. Just when I started to panic, Courtney saved the day with extras, and I could not have been more grateful. That level of thoughtfulness and hospitality made all the difference.

The attached coffee shop was a dream for parents, giving them a chance to relax on the plush, cozy seating with a great drink in hand while the kids had a blast. Every detail was well thought out, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

We will absolutely be back for another event. If you are looking for a space that is not only beautiful but also run by people who truly care about your experience, The Delaware Event Space is it. A flawless experience from beginning to end.

I’ve had both of my girls graduation parties here. One in May of 2022 & the other, May of 2024. Hands down, BEST venue in Independence!! GREAT customer service, & the hall is gorgeous! The open windows, garage doors, & dressing rooms are some of the things that sold us. Thank you Delaware for helping us make some amazing memories!!! Some pics from both grad parties.

I rented this space for a celebration of life. Worked out perfectly. This building is beautiful, raw and inviting. They were quick with responses and planning. Courtney and her staff were incredibly helpful and very sympathetic to our situation. We appreciated their efforts in making this as effortless and seamless for us as they could. Another plus, they offered excellent options for Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic drinks, as we used the cash bar. I highly recommend this space for your next event.

Oh, and they have coffee and breakfast there when not hosting an event!

We got married here last week and absolutely loved it. The windows allow for such beautiful natural lighting that really makes the pictures so great. The price is a lot more affordable than other venues we looked at which is also a huge plus. Courtney was super fast at communicating back and forth whenever I had any questions come up! I highly recommend this place to anyone getting married soon!

We rented this wonderful yet amazing venue for our daughters graduation party. We went and did a walk through with Courtney a month prior to the event. We needed a space big enough for 150 people.We used there tables and chairs. They were high quality, sturdy yet attractive. We used 10 round tables and 10 black chairs at each table. We used 4 - 8 foot tables for food,desserts and gifts. They had everything set up to our plans perfectly when we arrived on the day of the party. This facility is very clean, and had clean,/ well stocked bathrooms. We also got the coffee bar package so all of our guests had hot or iced specialty coffee of there choice. This was such a bonus and a personal touch to our party. They have a catering kitchen we kept all the extra food in during our party. We also used the patio out front and corn hole and chairs were set up. Everyone loved the inside/outside option. This is an exceptional, beautiful well lit venue that met all of our needs. There was plenty of parking behind the building and side streets. Loved working with Courtney and Katie who were so helpful and kind all throughout our process of planning to set up to after the party. I had come to the Delaware event space several years ago for a ladies retreat with a church. I had remembered what a wonderful place it was. I highly recommend renting this event space for any special occasion.
