Got our power shut off today at 8:30am because our card expired on our account. They call us at 8am for a “courtesy call” which we missed, to let us know they were shutting it off and less than 30 minutes later turned the power off. Had an account for 4 years never missed a payment. Would have happily called back and fixed payment if they would have given me time to call them back today. We were totally unaware. We have a newborn at home screaming because we have no way to heat a bottle with all electric appliances. Talked to them on the phone after the shut off and the lady was rude and condescending. Customer Service gets a 0 here.

Do not use this company if you can avoid it. They have a 10 day window from when you pay till they cut off your service and they also have terrible customer service. I spoke with 3 people at this company and one was incredibly rude, one was helpful in the fact that she put me in contact with the regional manager who waited till 4:30 on a Friday to call me back on a cut off issue. If I hadn't gone ahead and paid all of the extra fees up front my power would still be off and everything in my fridge and freezer ruined waiting for the "person in charge" to call me back.

I’ve been a customer for years. Obviously not by choice since the choice is made for you based on where you live. I paid my bill twice and instead of giving it back they kept it. Asked for it back and they said no. But you sure have no problem taking it. Thanks a lot. I don’t need a credit it on my so far unposted next bill. I need my money back. I don’t appreciate not being given a choice.

Not sure what is up with her electric bills, but the last 3 months have been like $900 and it used to be around $300 or less. Our local ladies are very nice and helpful however. But there's absolutely no way our electric went from $300 a month to $900!!

Wonderful workers came to our rescue this hot summer morning after waking up and discovering only half of the house electricity to be working. I gave First Electric a call and they were out in 30 minutes and up the pole only to diagnose the problem as weathered power lines. Replaced the lines within 30 minutes and we are back to normal! Thank Goodness for such educated diligent workmanship!!

Been with the Coop for years. Always great service from the field to the office folks. The power outages I've had were few and far between. Never lasted very long. Called about an abandoned pole on my way. It's gone. Thanks

Very helpful!!! I like them so much Bette than Entergy!! They offer pre paid, and I love it!! It works so much better for my husband and I. I love not having to worry about a high bill and how I'm gonna pay it!! Pre pay is the best thing ever.
