A Specialty Bakery did the groom's cake for our wedding and it turned out amazing. I did my order over the phone and was a little nervous about how it'd turn out but it was perfect My husband loved how the design turned out and it tasted fantastic. You can do a cake tasting with them for pretty cheap and it comes with a ton of flavors and icing options and of course they're all delicious. Delivery was on time and the customer service was great. I highly recommend

We were coming down from St. Louis for a family vacation and had a birthday to celebrate while in Gulf Shores. Ordering our cake was simple and efficient! The cake was BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS!!! I wish we lived closer so I could have all of our event cakes done by you!

The owners of this bakery are amazing people. They blessed me and my wife with a free cake the size of a wedding cake topper for our one year anniversary because our original topper that we had tried saved got thrown away.

My husband and I got married in Gulf Shores exactly 1 year ago. I failed to do a review at the time simply because of all that is going on when you are getting married! However, as we are sitting here enjoying our last piece that was saved and frozen for the 1 year anniversary I just had to share with everyone how wonderful these ladies are! First of all, the cake was definitely a custom design. I e-mailed a picture into Brenda and she worked with me to change it to suit us perfectly. One half of the cake was a navy pilot uniform and the other was a wedding dress. Both sides had such beautiful detail. It turned out absolutely gorgeous! And the taste.. was delicious! It was very flavorful and moist! The fondant icing was perfect! We could not have been happier with our masterpiece! And just to top it off.. we planned our wedding very quickly, the girls worked with me on the time frame as well as delivery! Due to the fact that that I had my reception so close to the bakery, they were able to deliver the cake to the reception site for me! I can't express to you enough how grateful we were to these ladies for helping to make experience so worry free and the cake so amazing! Even a year later, the cake is amazing! We definitely recommend A Specialty Bakery with confidence! Thank you Brenda and all that worked with me to make this so awesome!

I am so very grateful for Ms. Brenda and A Specialty Bakery coming through for me on such short notice. I called requesting a gluten-free cake and themed sugar cookies for a gender reveal. I emailed her pictures of what I had in mind and WOW, I was so very impressed. Everything was exactly what I wanted and delicious too. We received so many compliments. Ms. Brenda has been baking cakes for my family for over 15 years and now she's baking cakes for my grandchildren. I highly recommend A Specialty Bakery.

The sugar cookies are my absolute favorite! They offer seasonal cookie decorating kits throughout the year that are always a hit with the kids, but you can also buy already decorated cookies like I did today. I recommend following them on Facebook so that you get real-time updates on fresh baked items, when the sweet case is restocked and when specialty treats and cakes are available same day, which is what brought me in today: fresh fudge! This is a locally owned and family-run business, which is where I prefer to spend my money. The owners do an incredible job of giving back to the community.

We ordered 3 different flavor cupcakes and strawberries for our wedding, the carrot cake was amazing, as were the strawberries. Very easy to work with and reasonably priced.
