We had a great time watching the battle of the bands an hour young star guitarist and vocalist. The layout of this venue has always seemed a bit uncomfortable to me. No food except for the little snack bar/coffee bar next door and it seems that the sound system is often an issue. The seating is either metal chairs at tables or a booth if you are able to get one, or standing. While the four of us were as close to the stage as we would have wanted, it cost us $175 before we had the first drink or snack. I realize that the pricing decisions are not just made by the venue. On the plus side, I felt safe and the staff was courteous and the build out/architecture of the place is pretty cool. I'm encouraged that they seem to promote local talent as well as big name entertainers. We had an opportunity to bring our own food and soft drinks, which was nice and did save us a little money. Overall it was a really good experience as we got to see the band we came to see as well as several more good local bands. We will go back !

I know I'm late posting, but I went to the Pynkbeard concert and it was AMAZING! Great staff, great atmosphere and the drinks were wonderful. Pynkbeard brought love, grit and unity into the building. It was a perfect night!

This is a nice venue and interesting interior. I'm giving it 3 stars because of the lack of cooling during a show in the Soundstage area. It got so hot some people left, and 2 different artists complained it was too hot.

Not sure if the AC was out or what. But it had to have been 90°+. Just not a comfortable experience for my first time there.

Nice little place to see a smaller show at a great price. I took off 1 star for the acoustics. Our ears are still ringing the next day, but we had a GREAT time while we were there. Standing room only so wear comfy shoes. Bathrooms were clean. We didn't get a chance to check out Lee's Coffee Bar but it looked like a pretty cool place to hang out with friends. Definitely plan on coming back next month for Cowboy Mouth.

If you haven't been to Workplay within the last year, it's a completely different experience now. And that's a good thing. From local bills to bigger touring packages, Workplay can accommodate shows with two stages and two freshly renovated bars.

Such a cool place to see a show up close and personal. Wasn't a bad seat or view anywhere in the building. The sound was awesome and I look forward to going again. Living Colour was awesome!

There are so many stages for any size crowd. The staff is friendly and the drinks are on point! This place is designed with a cool vibe in mind. If you see a show or event happening here, I wouldn't miss it!
