I'm from Whiteriver I grew up here... Why is the bakery department just lazy and rude young people too... The girls are rude and unnecessary... Do better Bashas... I mean we could report to Bashas corporate office? Make the phone calls people they need a reality check... We shop there, our money keeps those jobs they hate...

So tonight, 9/11/2024, my mom was trying to get a cake in the bakery at Bashas for a coworker. Of course, that didn't happen because apparently, after they close the bakery, you can't purchase anything behind the case. Another fellow customer wanted a cake, too, but they told him the case was locked. ? It's the easiest thing to do, too. Grab the container, put the cake and the label which was under the cake simple.. The night manager didn't want to help he just said over the intercom, "Bakery is closed." The deli guy with the green beanie was so rude and disrespectful, trying to make a point saying, "Just saying" after each sentence when it's not his damn dept. Anyways I remember when I work at Store #11 and Eddie's Country Store, after the bakery was closed the night manager would get the cake or little desert behind the case, if they couldn't, they would have a cashier or deli person get the product for the customer. So I don't understand if it just laziness or poor customer service, but I worked for bashas for many years so has my mom we be both know it's pretty clear it's laziness and shitty customer service. Do better bashas in Whiteriver!!! If I could, I would put zero stars. The cashier was very nice and sweet, tho.

I try to shop here whenever possible. They have decent prices and some really good ones. Just like everyone else, they are having trouble getting some supplies. The workers are always good and friendly. I love that I don't have to wear a mask anymore!!

The store is clean and neat. It's the closest grocery store to me on the mountain, with the only other options being Safeway or Walmart in Show Low.
