If you ever get through to speak to a human(?) It will only make things worse. They are prone to argue in favor of their sub-standard services and will intentionally (further) hold up your mail if you don't agree with them...they are immature and very vindictive (gang mentality). Unfortunately, they have a monopoly on certain services. It's no wonder why every other parcel delivery service was born out of the worse delivery (USPS) company on earth! AND why our government is floating the possibility of privatization of this #TRUE drone.

Issue with Santa Ana distribution center wrongly returning mail to sender.

I sent 20 identical Christmas cards from Seal Beach USPS and 19/20 made it to various addresses throughout the US.
The one that failed made it to Santa Ana distribution center and then was returned to sender with no explanation note attached.
Lady at Seal Beach USPS couldn’t explain it. She verified address and even noted that USPS had applied bar code with 9 digit zip (as well as extra 2 digits for the exact recipient house location) - so no issue with address of intended recipient. She was nice enough to hand stamp card envelope to allow it to be re-mailed.

Unfortunately, issues like lost or wrongly returned mail are common, and are why people have no faith in USPS.

Can’t submit a complaint via USPS yet. But they have my documents mail according to the online tracker but are refusing to hand them over. They were upset I showed up in person but prior to this I called them and they refused to pick up the phone. Someone please tell me how to lodge a complaint against this facility.

They keep losing our mail!! They have lost our mail twice l. When I called and talked to someone named Monica, and she would not help at all. Our package has been sitting in that facility and was supposed to be delivered days ago. Really upsetting!

Absolute garbage, paid 20$ for express shipping to get here on FRIDAY! Even asked the clerk and he guaranteed my extra money to boost shipping method would get here express. Checked the tracking number and it sat at this center(that is 8 minutes from my house) all day after 2pm and instead of MAILING it to me they sent it to the irvine facility that's 20 minutes away from my house that's also closed. No package for me i guess you guys are just some bum thieves nowadays. What a joke.

I moved to California several months ago and am shocked at how the post office here works. I have ordered several packages from Korea that (against my will) require signature. If I am not home, they are supposed to leave notices on my door or in my mailbox with the information on where to pick up my package or how to schedule a redelivery. They keep documenting that they left notifications but not once have I received these slips. So the packages are returned to the sender and I am stuck with hundreds of dollars worth of shipping costs but with no actual merchandise.

Lost two certified letters, and the tracking numbers for both said they left the Santa Ana distribution center and were lost after that. From all the other reviews, it seems like this distribution center shouldn’t even be open since it can’t even do the basic job of moving mail along. And of course, USPS customer support has not been helpful. Lost money and time from the incompetence of this distribution center.

The service was absolutely awful. I paid for one day shipping, which means I should’ve got it on Wednesday, December 19. I called US PS, I called fashion nova which that is where I ordered from, and they all told me that my package was still at the California Santa Ana distribution center for some odd reason. So I called this center and very nicely told her that fashion nova gave me a number to give them, and that I was wondering where my package was. She told me that I need to track it on my tracking website ( which i’ve been doing ever since I ordered ) and when I told her that it said it was still at the distribution center she told me, “ well you are just going to have to wait until you receive it because we can’t tell you if it’s here,” giving me no details at all. She was very rude and very quick to the point.
