Today I received a call from fraud prevention regarding some charges that someone tried to make on my debit card. I'm greatful for their service when it comes to that.

However, when I went to this branch to get a replacement for my now canceled debit card I was informed that I'm going to have to wait 5 business days to get a new one because they no longer do the repayments in house. Did we go back in time? It's a total inconvenience to have to wait 5 days for a much needed debit card. I don't have millions but I will be looking for an institution that makes life easier for the customer...too bad, I liked doing business with Fairwinds...

Problem was solved by James one of the managers at the branch. Fairwind ROCKS...!!!!!

I paid off my vehicle loan with them but they kept my vehicle listed as having a lien with the DMV so it made buying a new car a nightmare waiting for them to fix their incompetent error for hours the day of getting a new car. Never ever get a loan with this bank, they will try to hold on to your title in the end and make buying a new car a needless hassle.

Update: I was contacted by phone the following day by the branch manager Lisa, who was not present the day this occurred. She heard me out, listened to all of the facts, apologized for the inconvenience, and said she would use this as a coachable moment to re-train staff and management, which is a very professional response, in my opinion. She also expedited the process to get my title released so that I could complete my trade in asap, while also providing a notarized letter for me to give the dealership assurance that the deal will go smoothly, which I also think is a commendable and professional response. I have changed my 1 star rating to a 4 star rating to reflect the commitment the branch manager showed in making this situation right and ensuring it won’t happen to other members in the future.

My name is brennan.I went into this bank to cash a check from my customer 1050 it was the guy behind the counter stated to me that he had to call her, which I was okay with, but she didn't answer the first time and then I had to call her. It's really embarrassing as a business owner. Over 80000 bucks, and I've been into another one of these, and they did the same thing. And then the next day I came in. They never asked to call the customer for a $4000 check. They literally got to stop judging people. By the way, they look when they're working. And then, when I came in, all dressed up nice with the $4000 check, they took it, but back to the bank in Longwood, the guy was behind the counter was speaking while I was on the phone with my customer. She could hear him in the background was asking what he was saying. He was saying that it's not embarrassing. It's not embarrassing over and over again, very, very unprofessional
