Waste Connections is the worst garbage company in Florida! Bulk pickup day is every Friday for this location! It’s been SEVERAL Fridays and trash is still sitting on the curb! I’ve called the city and they’ve reached out to waste connections and I’ve reached out to waste connections as well! I’ve spoke to Bill, Mary, and Shakira. I was told by Bill last Friday 7-19-24 that the bulk trash would be picked up by 5pm - Bill said if it’s not picked up call back Monday. I called Monday and got Mary. Mary assured me that someone would come out Monday - same day to pick the trash up. Guess what - no one came out Monday. Now today is Tuesday and I’m up early again calling Waste Connections because the trash is still sitting in the same spot like it has been for weeks! Folks please find another Garbage Company for trash pickup! You pay for a service and don’t receive service! It’s a waste of money! * I spoke with a supervisor named Carlos on 7-23-24 at 2:53pm and he said his 2 garbage guys should have picked the trash up! Carlos said it’s no reason why they should have left the bulk pickup behind! Also Carlos informed me that the 3 cubic feet was set in place for move outs! Also I sent photos to Carlos! No one else at Waste Connections wanted photos! He said that was not something they should have left! Waste Connections have lazy garbage men! The garbage man lied & said that the washer was in the yard! Again people choose a Reliable & Trustworthy company! Oh FYI the garbage men are too busy being unprofessional by being fresh with the homeowners versus picking up the garbage like their supposed to be doing!

Waste Connections of Florida is my go to trash company! For many years, I’ve worked with Britton Brown at a number of my properties. Her experience, knowledge of the industry, customer service and attention to detail is like none other. I am always very satisfied with her service and the company. You will not be disappointed!

After first year of service my bill was increased by 13%. I contacted the company and spoke with two people, one of whom stated they will talk to their higher ups and get back to me. I texted by representative as well to inform him of my questions. I did not hear back from the company again, I had to call and leave multiple message for the person who said they would get back to me and ultimately had to call the main office about my inquiry. I get an increase of fees inline with inflation and maybe a little extra (it is a business) but 13% seems high. No one called me back, instead I received an email for a little less of an increase but noticed this also makes me restart the 5 year contract. This was not expressed when the new rate was delivered and I had to email back and ask the same question multiple times to the get the answer that yes, signing this new monthly amount would start my five year contract over again.
SO basically it boils down to resign the contract and most likely have to do this every year (wonder if that's planned so you can never get out of a contract) OR stay with them for five more years and hope that by the end of the 5 year contract I am not paying 65% MORE than I originally signed up for.... Not great choices either way.
I recommend you shop around more than I did prior to signing up with this company. I have found multiple companies who have quoted me LESS than my original price for service from Waste connections.

Update: 3 weeks after the company responded to the review that they would be reaching out regarding the review and Waste Connections has not attempted to call or contact us at all. Just so ya know.....
