Liars
Did work for years with this company for 8 years but this year was different. I know small claims is my best option but since they are in Fl and I'm in MA, I would like this to go on their record or get a copy so maybe they will respond. I never had a problem till this year with 3 completed jobs. They had someone still money from them but the new controller told me she was cutting a check that day which was 3 months ago (in good faith I did a 3rd job because of their problem) and now no one gets back to me. Others need to know what they are now like. It's only $1750 total so maybe your notice will help me. Thank you, Bob Kohn's Handyman Service

Unfortunately I have experienced the same issues others have working with EDC. We did two jobs for two Walmart locations in Feb and Mar of 2024 and the total owed to us is $4,450.00. I've called every month about a payment and its a different story every time. I've been told one check was getting mailed to never receive it, and that the other had to be reentered into the their system. Then they had someone misappropriating funds. Then they didn't have our correct address. Now I cannot get anyone on the phone regardless of which prompt I select. Has anyone else reached out directly to the company they did work for and tell them EDC is not paying their bills? This company is a fraud and a joke. No business should operate like this and treat it vendors this way.

Wish I could less than one star this company is a joke a bunch of thieves was contracted for emergency water remediation at a GameStop location in Omaha May 2024 still cannot get a hold of anyone for a $850 payment. DO NOT WORK THIS COMPANY YOU WILL NOT BE PAID!!

They seriously don’t pay!! Did a job in January 2024 and still trying to get payment in September 2024! It’s always the same thing every time I call. Saying I didn’t submit paperwork but by the end of the call they tell me I did and the check will be cut and mailed. It’s horrible! They don’t respond to emails about payment. The phone calls they tell you that it’s an issue on your end. They should be shut down!

If I could give this company zero stars I would! We went out on an after hours call in the middle of the night and also went out again on another job for them asap! We did this work in November of 2023 and have yet to receive payment. We have got the excuse that we did not send pictures for the one job which we explained to them we were unable to do so on the after hours call. Three times now they have told us they were sending payment and we have yet to receive anything! Vendors beware this is an absolute scam! They don't pay their bills, and the customer service is horrible!

This company doesn’t pay the vendors, the small local companies who do all of the work and use their time and materials to service THEIR customers. No wonder they couldn’t find a company that was closer to service Wal-Mart, they’ve burned all their bridges. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. We made you look good and you turn around and leave us with an unpaid invoice. Frankly, it’s despicable.

This company doesn't answer the phone, respond to emails or pay their vendors. I have a $10,000 outstanding bill with them for months and cant get a response out of them. Do not do business with this company
