I spent an hour this morning with the people at City First Church Cape Coral and this has been the best Sunday by far since I relocated here 5 years ago. Everyone was very nice the sermon was so good you couldn't have pulled me away from it for nothing. I am already looking forward to next Sunday so I can return to this church. I felt so welcomed at City First Church. I am grateful and humble to have found them. I went alone but felt the Holy Spirit guide me to this church. I was greeted by many wonderful people. A special thank you to Abby for sitting with me and praying over me. It was amazing. The music and singing were beautiful.The experience was a mix of traditional and modern worship. Today I learned that praying is a weapon against the enemy and therapy is a strategy. The focus is on Jesus in our lives and the everyday challenges we face. With all the turmoil going on in the world today, this is a place for Christain fellowship.

This is a small church with a huge heart. Come as you are flip flops, tanktop and shorts are very welcome. From the day I walked in, this has been a loving and heart felt church. They truly care and love on you. They have a saying, "We are not just a friendly church. We are a family church." And it showes. A day or two after hurricane Ian hit SW FL. They were passing out water, food, tarps, dipers,whipes, baby formula, and someday hot meals and more. They continued for months. This is a truly loving people church. This love Jesus and love you church is a fresh and exciting place to be loved on just as you are. I have been very blessed from the first time inwalked in the doors. If your looking or just want to stop by and be loved on. Thank you City First for being a life line of hope for so many of us. This place is a church you must stop by and be loved on.

The sermons are in depth and help with you grow in Christ and in Life. Everyone truly cares. Great children’s ministries along with Champions club for disabled kids. City First Rocks!

My family and I love City First Church! We’ve been coming for years and our Senior Pastors Jeremy and Jen Deweerdt have such a heart for God. The entire team at City First is just wonderful. Our Location Pastors Chris and Abby Merz have been a blessing! They’ve been so invested in the community and helping meet tangible physical needs as well as the spiritual needs. The love of Jesus is shown i everything they do! It’s not just a friendly church it’s a family church is not just a saying, it’s the truth! Love it!!

City first Church has given my family and I, a deeper connection and community then any other church we have attended in town.
Smaller, humble Church where everything is like family.

Also, this church is very special needs friendly with the champions club program. Not many places in town make the accommodations as this Church does.

For those reading this, here is my story. First of, I will say that I wasn't religious at all. I was raised Catholic and became agnostic and was so for many years. My son introduced my wife and I to this church and I got a good vibe from them. I didn't appreciate the word of God until my daughter ran away and I felt powerless in trying to find her and how empty my life was without her. I often complained to God about worldly stuff and asked for his help. My daughter showed the next day and my life changed forever. Thanks to this church and the many great people, I am accepting God's love and plan he has for me and my family. I would encourage everyone to come as it is different and they don't talk politics, but how Jesus would help others and the people are amazing!
