Just to add to my review: Anyone would not have to read far on the reviews to know about RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE is. Only have to read some of BHWM's replies to persons reviews. It is obvious they have no interest in building a business. At the rate they are loosing business they will be gone before long. RUDENESS gets you nowhere!!

I have paid my bill on time for over 11 years, unlike their scheduled pickups. I paid late only 2 times and made sure I included late fees when paying. Have encountered a very rude person every time I have had to call or go in to pay. That is why I changed to putting payment in drop box. They have my deposit that I probably will never see. Good ridden to poor rubbish pickup!!

Editing to clarify that it WAS harassment and the email sent unwarranted and replied to her OWN EMAIL NOT MINE AS THE CONVERSATION WAS DONE. Your office manager is rude. If you want to keep your business get rid of her. Period. Anyone reading this Hook or WM is now cheaper and 20 times more friendly. Also they won't squeeze trash juice out in front of your house.

I don't appreciate your staff emailing me out of the blue because of my one star review saying and I quote. "So, does the 1 star review mean you would not like to opt twice a week collection?"

It does, because your staff is rude and accused of us lying. We had twice a week pick up because of a small child in the home on diapers, now all of a sudden it's once a week but the rates 'didn't go up'. I accepted that and stopped emailing you, I'm not paying 30 bucks for twice a week because the child is no longer on diapers. I just wanted to sort out the confusion, not get sassed for no reason.

The one star review is for the attitude and lack of communication. To the office manager, no job is worth being this miserable. You're going to run this company into the ground if you don't find joy (kind of like I found another WM company).

The week of Nov 11, 2024 I called Beverly Hills Waste Management to inquire about trash pickup as we had just moved to Pine Ridge. The girl that answered was so sweet you would think that butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. I asked about all of the negative reviews and was told that they were problem customers.
The following week I went to the office to pay the required $65 cash deposit. Trash pickup was to start on Friday Nov 22. About 5 p.m. on Thurs I put the trashcan out by the road to be picked up the next day. On Fri I realized that the trash was not picked up so I called to ask about it. The girl answering SUPPOSEDLY called the driver to be told that the trash wasn't out by the street. When I assured her that it was out since the day before she just kept repeating that the driver said it wasn't out for pickup. She also said that I wouldn't get a trash pickup for two weeks since the following week was Thanksgiving. This made me pretty upset that she chose to believe the driver and the conversation went downhill after that. The following week I called to cancel the service as I didn't want to do business with a shady company like that. I asked about my $65 deposit and was told it would be sent minus the Friday pickup that I never got. To this day I am still waiting for my $65 deposit minus the one pickup that I never got.
The bottom line, listen to the negative customer reviews as they are 100% correct.

This company sent letters to Beverly Hills residents increasing the monthly payment for garbage collection. The letter indicates that "seniors" can receive a discount. Today I called to claim the discount for being a "senior" because I am 70 years old. To my surprise they told me that for Beverly Hills Waste Management the senior age is 80. What law applies to this company to raise the age from 65 to 80 years old to be senior? In fact, some weeks they only collect one day and skip one. It is an incredible lack of consideration and respect for seniors. Maybe our community needs to consider change to WM Trash Service .

And I’m officially done. I’ve long appreciated a budget, friendly service, but the customer service is absolutely horrible. Their communication on make up days is not good, they just changed our day in our neighborhood, with no grace period. So we missed a pick up. Then a hurricane came through on Thursday night, but they still expect me to have my cans out by 6 AM Friday morning. I was basically told oh well. So two missed pick ups that I’ve paid for. Absolutely ridiculous.

As a retired combat veteran who purchased a home in the Beverly Hills area and moved from Spring Hill Aug 2024, I have had NOT a single issue with BHWM, I was reluctant at first when I read the reviews when I moved here and I am glad I did not go off the reviews because I've had no missed pick up or broken lids and non of the stuff I put out has ever been rejected. Even my neighbor who works for Waste Management told me not to listen to others but to continue service with BHWM because of their prices and if I have had no problems then don't switch. I truly appreciate this company. Before I closed on my house, I called BHWM the week before I moved and they told me what I needed to do in order to start service at my new address.

I went to the office and they were friendly and professional. I was in and out within 3 mins. And even for the major holidays, they let everyone know in advance regarding should the holiday fall on your pick up day how it would be handled. I was never confused at all regarding pick up days when it came to the holidays. I truly thank you BHWM for such an awesome rate for the month and for the workers that do the pick up. I am glad I didn't just go off the negative reviews or else I would have missed out. Again Thank you

Well for one I asked for the late fee to be removed and was blatantly told NO. I also paid $100 for 3 months of trash which is outrageous,nonetheless my trash wasn't picked up Thursday due to non payment. But I wasn't informed it would be suspended. Now the trash sits until Monday while the birds eat it. Absolutely ridiculous customer service.

Office staff is sarcastic, rude and needs a class in customer service. I missed my garbage pick up on 9/27, because I didn't have my garbage can out early enough....AFTER A MAJOR STORM. I didn't take it out the night before, because of heavy winds & rain from Hurricane Helene. So, I left a detailed voice mail message a 7:30 am on 9/27, the day of my pickup, to ask if the truck could come back around and pick up my trash, because I saw them literally a block away. Not only did no one from the office return my call, I had to call in the afternoon to see what could be done. There was no solution. A little empathy would have gotten you a lot further with me. I don't need sarcasm. I got upset and lost my temper, then called back to apologize for my part. However, the attitude of the same young lady who I spoke to when I called back continued to be sarcastic & rude..."you should have done this, you should have done that...etc." She hung up on me when I had to interrupt her to tell her I didn't need a lecture. I heard the pre-recorded message when I tried to call in the morning. A little empathy goes a long way, people. Get it together. I would however like to say that the crews that pick up the trash are friendly and courteous. Owner - please don't even think about making excuses - I just don't want to hear it. I know when I'm wrong and I own it. Your representative on the other hand doesn't. I would give the crew 5 stars if I could, and the office zero. Somebody needs a star, so the crew is going to get that star.

Based on the review from the owner, he obviously condones that his office staff address people in an over-talking, sarcastic manner. I'm not the only one this has happened to. It's not about the garbage in my can anymore, it's about the lack of empathy or ability of his staff to address customer concerns without further exasperating a situation. As a business owner, it is your responsibility to staff your office adequately, not mine - and to train them appropriately in how to treat customers over the phone. Your crew is great, your office is not. Your service isn't free - we all pay for it, and then some with these types of experiences with your office. I work every day, and I get my job done. I understand your policy just fine, thank you, owner!

Added update to office manager: you are not adequately staffed and your demeanor on the phone is irritating. 1.4 stars, that says something. I would say that you need to work on a few things.
