Applied for benefits more than 6 months ago.. I called in multiple times and got little to no help on getting my money even after qualifying for benefits. My last call with them I can hear everyone in the background doing everything else but working talking about fkin tea and coffee and their favorite zip dramas. uselss.. some one should give a recommendation to higher up to better the processing of applications and issue. they are still likely using a system designed in the 90's

If you’re disabled and you request assistance because you have cognitive decline and you need help Darrell will tell you you’ve signed onto the website plenty of times with an attitude. He said if he gave me a one time exception he could get in trouble. I guess I should’ve given him my full medical history? Their website is so confusing and you just feel like you go in circles. If the employees don’t wanna work for the public, then don’t get a job there. Y’all are discriminatory 100%

Honestly it’s the worst. You can’t get through to anyone when you call they hang up on you instead of offering a wait list. They also just denied my claim WHEN HURRICANE MILTON TOOK MY HOUSE AND THEY SAID IT WAS MY FAULT FOR RELOCATING LOL OK honestly this government system is WORTHLESS I wish I could say some things to someone UPDATE I lost everything when Milton hit and they just don’t care. They denied my appeal as well. These people are heartless

Unthetical practice. If you give a notice on 3/13/25 and a deadline of 3/14/25. This is against federal law. You have to provide a reasonable time frame. You aren't even able to send me a notice by usps in that time frame. Guess you want a suit.

Ignoring floridians phone calls 1 day at a time. Waste of tax payers dollars. Was told that my wait time would be 12 to 18 minutes. 1 hour 15 minutes later, still on hold. Everybody with this department should be fired

Worst ever. No one to tell you what's going on with a clear sense of direction. Going on 1.5 months and still can't get my acct unlocked or receive benefits. Just terrible!

The absolute worst system, have been trying to get answers for two months. A couple of times I was able to speak with someone, and they said I had to wait for my adjudication to be processed. It's been 2 months.
Is not urgent to resolve my case.
Bills continue coming and savings have been gone.
This department is an absolute shame. I’ve never been more frustrated in my life, along with THOUSAND others who give this joke of a department.
Also, be on the line to wait for a response for more than two hours. On top of that if you want to talk with a representative you have to go to the Tampa Resources Center to get through to talk with a representative, if you try to call from your phone NO ONE GOING TO ANSWER.
