Im on my grandma's phone and I go to this school. im a 6th grader. and I absolutely love this school and I used to go to lealmen avenue elementary so im keeping with the lealman till highschool and this school may have its problems with bullying but there's now a strict no bullying rule and if you get suspended 3times the 4th is an expulsion. staff is really nice and plan dances through the year for fun

A lot of crazy rumors about what goes on here during the summer in the middle of the night.Police guards,semi trucks coming in, and Dr.s and medical staff from St.Pete Pediactrics.

This school is not even good it’s awful I should’ve been left this school. I do not recommend you send your child to this school at all.

This is not a School. Please do not send your child to this place. Misbehave kids who bully other kids. Fights every other day on school ground and on buses. No one return calls or answer phones or emails. Started in uniform but is not a uniform school. 6-12th grade is not a good mix for a 5th grader to come to a school that has too many upper class. Had a threat to the school no parent was called or emailed or text about the incident until Friday incident made the news but happened on a Wed why wasn't parents called. A young man threaten to shoot up the school. The school needs to do better all the way round Teachers, Faculty and Parents. My child will not be returning to a broken school and I pray for those children who come to learn each day and the bullying needs to STOP! Parents be more involved with your kids it is not the Schools job to babysit your bad kids they are there to educate them.

I have tried numerous times to resolve these issues with the school to no avail. I don’t really want to take a legal routeh Fcc but will if necessary. From the second day my son attended Lealman innovation academy he was jumped by two boys. Nothing done then a few days later punched in the face. Nothing done the school administration seems to cover for each instead of what’s right. The principal got on the phone with me months ago agreeing to relook into it and I can never meet with her EVER. Call her Secretary is rude much like the staff the it doesn’t surprise me why there are so many fights on that campus. They call horse play from the videos posted they are much more. My son has adhd and add he has some issues with not know when kids are done playing. Does it make it okay for him to be picked on and bully by other kids an staff for that matter. We attended what we thought was a positive family event at the school Nope just a chance to beat my son down. As much as I have made myself available to the staff to better help them understand and assist them. They choose times like this and you wonder why kids feel like staff don’t care. I shared a lot of personal traumas that he is experiencing right now they have done nothing but used them against him Sad. Mr. Kratts was supposed to provide support there is a why to discipline without beating someone down. The always state officer Gordon “was standing right there when it happen” he has a vendetta against my family and has backed the administration with Evidence that shows otherwise. They are trying to to force my child out. I fear for his safety I’m sure they will bring any and everything wrong my son does. That’s literally what takes place he steps a toe out of line he is has done the absolute worst. I have proof of what I’m saying I’m asking you to step in to assist with this issue. I know the principal may have already address it since she is there.

Anyone who puts anything more than 1 star really doesn't know what this school is like, im a student at lia and i recommend no one to come to this school . everyone here talks non stop for the 6 hours where in here. The teachers literally swear at the kids sometimes. Really 1 star is too good for this place. It was a huge mistake coming here. There was a sub who told us in reading class about how he used to be involved in dealing drugs, how his friends are in jail. Really horrible school. Wanna hear something else funny? The end school zone sign is actually in front of the school. What kind of design is that? Im surprised this school is rated what it is, probably paid people to give it a good rating.

I went here as a teenager back in 1993 I appreciated some of my teachers, but some of them were overwhelmed with the students and some were just rude and disrespectful for no reason. I walked out of class many times and was often disengaged by the lack of compassion of the staff. The environment was hostel and constant fights would break out. I was in four in just one year there. I rode the bus back then and on a few occasions our bus driver would either have to call the police, and once even drove a packed bus to the bus yard and simply walked off because he was being bullied and verbally accosted by some students. The next day we had a new driver. I am thankful to a couple of teachers who made life at lealman kinda bearable the year I was there. They are the reason I give any stars to this school. Is it ironic that the profile pic on FB has a police car in it? if that's NOT an indication of the environment for you.
