I did not actually ask for any services from Pat other than his professional opinion about a local welding school I was interested in enrolling in (I will choose not to name) and the current opinion about candidates they are putting out. He was kind and patient with me while giving his professional opinion with the caveat that he has heard from his colleagues around town at the shipyards that this particular school is not as effective as it could be but has not seen any actual graduates or their work recently. He really seems to be familiar with the local industry and the state of welding and pipe fitting today. I would definitely recommend giving them my business or trying to apply for a job for them after & if I become a Certified Welder.
