Had a lighting strike, as a result motors were affected. After manufacture repaired what they could motors were still under performing. Several phone calls with engineers on this motor they determined motors were performing fine although we were missing 200 tursn and 4 kts and doubled the hole shot time. AME was contacted to do what they do and discovered we were down 150hp per side. Manufacture still didnt beileive this was possible. So motors were removed and dyno on two different dynos. They came back with in a few numbers of AME report! AME stood firm by their results out the gate when manufacture pushed back. Turns out AME was right! The techs that came out were great and very knowledgeable!

With the research support of AME we were able to source our parts and supplies in advance of our shipyard period. AME’s team was ready to start once we were released to commence work which is always a variable but they were ready when we were ready. The refit wasn’t without its challenges but in the end we were happy and operational when planned. AME surpassed expectations --- excellent communication, showed up when they said they would, and delivered. We had "eccentric" rotation on a drive adapter that a surveyor flagged as a major issue. Through their analysis, AME was able to prove it was visual only and properly balanced. No vibration or risk of mechanical damage. Saved the sale, a lot of time, and money. I highly recommend their services.

In 20 years of working in the marine industry, I must say this is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. “James” should get recognized as the most useless of the lot. I would NEVER use this company for vibration analysis or anything related to a yacht!

Advanced Mechanical Enterprises has been doing laser and optical drive train alignments and vibration analysis for us (Cable Marine) here in Fort Lauderdale for many years. Great experience,
Shop was closing and I ask if someone could help me with an issue at our hotels kitchen HVAC Inverter. kitchen was very hot and staff was having a tough time working in the hot conditions. so a tech. I believe name was Marvin or Mel. stepped in and worked on it for several hours. he got it running and ready for the hotel staff to re install the unit.

We used AME extensively during our most recent yard period at Derecktors. During this time we completed an major overhaul of our running gear. Upgrading to a new shaft seal arrangement whilst also completing replacement of main engine and gearbox mount's. This was all completed with precision alignment throughout the whole process.

Teresa in the office was a step ahead with foresight along with great communications. Between scheduling the on site techs, whilst having a strong mechanical knowledge and handling some of the hurdles thrown at us. She was a great asset through this period.
