They do not answer the phone on weekends when there is an issue and instead have it automatically transferred to the police department who referred me back to the same number. They closed the recycling center on weekends so that no one who works normal hours can use it despite the posted hours saying they are open Saturdays. Whoever is in charge should be fired.

I'm moving back to Largo after being gone for several decades. Both times I have called the public works number someone answered and it wasn't a machine! Both time the people were very helpful and easy to work with. If you need anything with regard to public works I recommend just giving them a call.
