Swept Away returned our call quickly and scheduled someone to come out and check our fireplace. The crew was very knowledgeable, diagnosed the issue and took partial payment up front. Our only issue was the period of time between their first visit (diagnosis) and when they came back to perform the work. Granted, the holidays were between the visits and the owner went on vacation, but the lack of communication and the fact we deposited money with no immediate followup, left us uneasy. We did eventually receive a call to schedule the service, which was today. The same gentleman came, was very respectful of our home and appears to have solved our fireplaces woes. The actual visits and service were a 5-star experience and I would recommend Swept Away to a neighbor or friend.

I submitted an online schedule request on Sunday and had a time for the next day. Eric called when he was on his way and even got there earlier than he scheduled window time which is great. When he got there he noticed that my dryer was not hooked up and fixed it for us. He cleaned the vent quickly and efficiently. We will definitely use Swept Away again. We highly recommend them!

Not to be trusted. Took 4 months to get storm collar replaced. Leaked in first rainstorm...was advised that another $200 - $350 repair was needed. Why was this not caught in the initial inspection? Owner (Mike) had an attitude when trying to resolve - first warning sign was his caller ID said: "Holy Rollers Automotive". They may be okay at simple dryer vent cleaning but would not trust beyond that.

We talked with Dale in Dec 24 about taking a stack pipe out of our fireplace since we changed it to an electric fireplace. We sent pictures and got a quote, so we made an appointment for Jan 16,25. After getting reminders they were coming between 10-12, we received a call at 11:30. "The office made a mistake, we don't do this work" Doesn't he look at his work orders ahead of time? Couldn't he let us know before the date? We moved everything including our 50 inch TV and were waiting for him to come. Unacceptable and poor customer service.

Company called and said they would repair the chimney (which the company repaired 3 and 1/2 years ago) at no cost. The previous work was done poorly by a company employee who has since been let go due to subpar work and the company is stepping up to repair what he did. We appreciate such honesty and work ethic by Swept Away.

Arion was delayed ar another job so Eric came to the call. He worked very quickly and efficiently. Completed all the work in a very expedient manner. He cleaned and inspected the chimney and installed the new damper top, tested and inspected everything and was done within two hours. Exactly the way a service call should be.
