Very frustrating process. Paid the $300 for them to file a mechanics lien on a vehicle that we worked on and the customer never paid for. Everything went perfectly. A week before the auction date for everything to be finalized, I get a call from a random number stating that Southern Title and Liens sold the mechanic's lien portion of their company to an individual and he would have to start the entire process completely over for another 60 days. I never heard anything from Southern Title on this, but my information was just given to someone else who at that time did not have a business email address or anything. Anytime I emailed Southern Title I was told to talk to this person, but was never told by Southern Title that I was no longer dealing with this company. Very poor buisness practice and transition.

So far so bad. I started the process back in July to get a lien put on a car that is on my property and ultimately get it into my name. This morning, I was supposed to hold an auction and if no one showed up I was supposed to call Southern. I called at the designated time and was told we are good to go the paperwork would be sent to the courts. Thirty minutes later I get an email from Southern saying the paperwork on their end was lost in the mail in July and a new auction is now scheduled for October. So, the paperwork was lost 2 months ago but wasn't worried about until auction day. I have already invested $300 in the process so I'm kind of stuck with it until the end.

I love, love, love this company. As a title clerk they make the process of Mechanic Liens incredibly easy. They're always updating the customer and there to answer any questions that arise. They are a BLESSING in disguise for a title clerk. I HIGHLY would recommend this company!!!

Really disappointed, I have hired Southern Title back in November of 2022 and I have yet to receive the title for the vehicle that was placed with a mechanic's lien. They quote on their website "Southern Title Liens will get you paid or get you the title within 30-60 days guaranteed!" Nothing but lies! One employee named Devin can not keep good notes and/or recall a phone conversation. He advises me on one thing and does not follow through & never returns my phone messages. I requested to speak to Christy who apparently is in charge and she basically tells me that they did their job and can't control the postal service and for me to go to DMV to pick up title. This statement was right after Devon advised me that the title was mailed out and returned to their location but could not explain why. End of the day, they state they guarantee and they don't. I DO NOT recommend this place! Handled poorly and I am requesting a full refund!

Buyer beware! I paid this company $500 to get me titles to 2 cars over 8 months ago and they tell me that the paper work got lost in the mail twice for both cars. Very disappointed. I dealt with Nikko and Christy and they will do nothing about it unless I want to pay them a second time. They will not stand behind their work. DO NOT USE THEM. They also tried to blame a 3rd party they used and told me it was up to me to find the paper work that THEY LOST. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Stay Far away!! Its been 3 weeks for a simple title transfer which they claimed was "complicated" because it was from out of state. There filing got rejected three times for what they claimed was a DMV issue. Kept saying that's its the DMV fault and not there's. They claimed that DMV was in error and told me DMV sent file to Head office for review which was a total lie. I called the DMV to get this all clarified and got a totally different story. The truth. Well low and behold it was there fault for not correctly providing the DMV with mundane and insignificant information. Every rejection took a week until they sent us documents back and told us to go else where.
Totally unprofessional, don't answer calls, hide behind emails and phones they never answer. They do not care about you at all. just another Internet title mill.

We have processed several liens through this company and always come out on top. Everyone is always super helpful and always nice and professional. I fully recommend them to anyone looking to make the painstaking process of liens and titles go away. It puts it on autopilot just pay and wait.
