Customer service is half the battle. Teresa's etiquette when answering the phone gives me a feeling from the start that I will get a good job. She was polite made sure I was taken care of .All I have to say is great job 👏 and thanks 😊

So, I wanted to share our extremely troubling and exhaustive experience with anyone currently in the market for a truck needing custom lift equipment and/or installation and looking at this establishment to serve their better needs.

Back in '22, our company needed a new dump vehicle, and ended up purchasing a new F750 with a steel flatbed from Stamm Manufacturing.

Let me just preface this review by saying that our little company was beyond excited to make this purchase, as we have admired their long-standing position in the community as the place to go for something of this nature.

We are a local, small business that has built our business up slowly in order to afford a fleet of service vehicles and was eager to add this one to our production, envisioning it would take our business to the next level.

After resolving a few minor issues on our own, we came across another issue (a large one), this time with the dump bed hoist buckling, thus rendering it inoperable for production. Once again, we were met with a quick response that this was not their (Stamm) fault after bringing the vehicle in to be checked out.
While we were just trying to figure out why this would have exactly happened (somebody could have gotten seriously injured or even killed), and what to do to prevent this from happening again after repair/replacement, we were met with a more indifferent attitude. Along with a large quote.

Obviously, this did not sit very well with us, as we had just purchased the vehicle from Stamm and spent over 100K. You would think that with that, along comes warranties and assurances. Not quite.

Still though, we did not get much from Stamm in terms of “customer service” (as opposed when purchasing the vehicle… shocker) as we had reached out numerous times to come to some type of agreement and solution in order to meet in the middle. We were eventually told that the situation would be made right by ownership, and that there would be a good resolution. But there was not.

Now please understand, we were never looking for anything “free” or for a refund (haha). We were simply looking for a long-standing company to just stand behind their word, products and services, and work with us to develop a better solution, as we feel they (Stamm) was responsible for this issue, as what they installed may have been inadequate/underpowered, thus causing this major issue.

In the interim process (months and months) going back and forth, not to mention the frustration of just trying to chase down answers from them, we lost a great deal of time and money not being able to use the vehicle.

We are a local, small business that was reliant on this vehicle for our work, and the fact that it was non-functioning hurt our business badly.

We were extremely disappointed that not much effort was made on their end to rectify this. Or at the very least, been more accommodating to assist in finding answers. To this day we never even had received an apology or a level of concern as a customer of theirs.

While I could keep going on and making it an even more long-winded review on the numerous things that occurred in the ordeal that are wrong on so many levels, the end result is that we took back our vehicle – broken dump bed and all and went in a different direction having it repaired. Mind you, at a fraction of the cost that Stamm had quoted.

We are upset, and once again, this whole thing just does not sit well with us, as we purchased a vehicle for over $100K, and was a customer of theirs (at least for a short time). This should never have happened. The experience, but more importantly, a company to act (in this case lack of follow through) in this manner, taking care of their customer and rectifying a defect.

Furthermore, we are not seeking money or anything from Stamm, but just wanted to speak about this experience and make anyone out there aware of this in order to help them make a better, informed decision (when making a large investment purchase of this kind) and not help but to come away extremely disappointed in someone’s business and service.
