Awesome inventory, Mr. Marlin is a awesome guy to talk to (when you catch him in the front). Very knowledgeable and very kind. Their website is unmatched in the industry. For every component, kit or item they have EASILY ACCESSIBLE data sheets right there on the page with each item. The more complex or confusing items even have demonstration and explanation videos with VERY CLEAR AUDIO. THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND in these videos to ensure the items components and the controls are identified while providing information on their functions.

Also almost forgot to mention certain items from overseas, rarely come with clear or even comprehendible instructions, MPJA makes their own instruction sheets and provides them with the item. They include simple explanations, schematics, diagrams and images of the device. Like I said UNMATCHED.
They even have their weekly sales flyers available online as well as a history of past flyers.
Pricing is the best. Items come with more information then anything you find on eBay, they are happy to help with any questions, the service alone is worth more then the item.

Been buying random parts at MPJA for 30+ years. Always great service, always courteous staff. I've always had the option to pickup my parts in person, but that hasn't always been convenient with my work schedule and office location. I've had to use the "ship it as inexpensively as you can, my house is 5 miles away" option, which for a small order can easily equate to a high percentage of the cost of the order. However, I don't blame that expense on MPJA, even a USPS flat rate box costs what it costs to ship 5 miles...

P.S. I love the showroom. I always wished you had something like that at the old location 30 years ago when I discovered your shop.

Great place, but their hours are terrible for hobbyists like myself. They're open 9-5 M-F (when I work) are only open 9-noon on Saturday, and are entirely closed on Sunday! I guess they must do a lot of business-to-business sales because they're missing out on a lot of hobbyist sales, I'd bet.

I have been buying from MPJA for years. They always shipped what I had ordered promptly. Sign up for their email deals. They often offer excellent email specials. Their flat-rate shipping fee is a bit high for me, living only about 21 miles away, but when I figure the cost-per-mile to drive there and back, I am better off paying the shipping. I just wish they offered FL residents a better shipping fee, especially because State sales tax must be charged to FL residents. Overall I rate MPJA very highly.

Well there hours are changing again. Freight charges, and or could be less than fuel cost. Depending on weight and carrie. This will determine leadtimes. It's your call for great product selection, cause you can't argue that.

I purchased a $3 item with express delivery. Shipping was more than the item. This company could not address the package properly and it was sent back to them. When I called to get the situation sorted out, they were EXTREMELY unhelpful. After 5 days, they claimed to not have the item, even though the post office says it was returned to sender. Their solution to "my" problem was to purchase it again and pay $100 in shipping costs. So, only when I pay $100 in shipping would they ship it properly.
