What a refreshing experience working with US Composites! I'm a do-it-yourself guy and this is my first foray into fiberglass repair work while replacing the rotten floor and stringers in my boat. I had a lot of questions! Their website has a couple of FAQ pages. These FAQ's proved to be very valuable and gave me much needed answers and confidence as well. I must have called a half-dozen times for tech advice, and Steve was so patient with me, even after so many calls! It's like he knew and understood my lack of knowledge and sought to set me at ease by explaining in layman's terms what I needed to know, even when I asked silly questions! The website is a no-frills site with gobs of technical info relating to each product. No pop-ups and marketing gimmicks to distract from the task of identifying my product need and the product order number. And best of all... they answered the phone every single time that I called! What's up with that? I cannot think of a better online and/or phone support system than these guys have! It's been a greatly appreciated experience, and I find that rare these days! Thanks US Composites! Your business deserves to flourish!

Have been buying from them for over 15 years, and have been commercially making composite parts for this time. Had a bad batch of gelcoat, it was very thin and runny. My employee used it on our mold in picture, resulting in a huge mess. The gelcoat literally ran off the vertical edges and pooled in the lower cavity of the mold. We had no choice to allow it to cure. We spent 10 hours removing all the gelcoat and resurfacing the mold. When i spoke to their tech guy, all he could ask were the most stupid questions, and at no point did they really take any responsibility for their product. Their responses made me feel attacked and like an amateur. The defended their product and their position as a supplier as if this sort of issue could never happen. For these reasons I will never buy product for them again. I also feel that this may be contributed to the shortage of resin, and they may be thinning their products. I have noticed the viscosity change in the vinyl ester resin, just be aware. They did offer to refund my purchase of the gelcoat. I will post if I receive that. An apology and some new product would have been enough from the tech guy.

***Revised, we are still buying from them and this was some how a one time issue, it just happened to cost us a lot of time and money we will not get back. But we still use their products

They have been wonderfully helpful. As a rookie carbon fabricator Steve was able to quickly grasp what I wanted to do and recommend products that have gotten me to where I wanted to be. Knowing what I know now, I was headed is a direction that would have cost me many more hundreds for the prototype and likely would have ended in a mess and having to find an alternative fabrication method. With Steve's help I have gained experience and have a working prototype:)

I've ordered products from US Composite 6 times over the course of 2021. Polyester, Epoxy, Gel & Tooling gelcoat. All of their products are awesome to work with. I have scoured the internet looking for deals and I have purchased from a few others. But no one meets their price for the product you receive. I live in Northern Virginia and placed an order on their site Monday. It shipped Tuesday and arrived UPS ground Friday am. The product is always packed well in heavy duty boxes. I have a place in Maryland I can get epoxies and other contents in a day. But I still use US because the 4 day delivery time is still worth it for the price and the quality of materials I receive. I've used Wesrt Systems, Total Boat and a few others. In the end, why pay $10 for a $2 hot dog that tastes the same. Just sayin'.
