I design stone column fountains and sell them at juried art shows. A new client in Palm Beach Gardens wanted me to install one within an existing narrow planter that runs the full length of his lanai. None of my basins would fit in there, so I had to quickly create something that would hold water. My shop is in Pennsylvania, so I got online and started searching for a local supplier/fabricator. I talked with several people closer, but Shahin was by far the most pleasant and accommodating, enough that I decided to drive the extra 90 minutes to deal with her. Upon arriving at Polymershapes Miami Shahin greeted me warmly and proceeded to explain the benefits of using expanded pvc foam for my application. Then we went into her office where she used a computer program that configured how to get the most efficient use out of the least amount of material. When everything was entered into the program, she printed out a list based on the measurements I told her. She explained that once she presses the next button, the shop will cut it according to those exact dimensions, and it will be too late if something is not right. Shahin wisely asked me to take my time and check it for accuracy. Sure enough, one of the measurements I had provided was off by the thickness of the board. I was so relieved! In less than an hour all the pieces were cut precisely and I was able to build the basin and install the fountain on a very tight timeline. Highly recommend Shahin and Polymershapes Miami! Shahin is as competent as she is kind and appealing! And her coworker even made an espresso for me while we were working out the details!
