Very impressed with the quality of work that these guys do, especially for the price. I've had Pro Comp do several jobs for me during my engine rebuild and I have time and again found myself impressed by the precision work done at this shop. I could not recommend them enough.

I called for an estimate on rebuilding an engine. The man who answered the phone, given me a price 3× higher then any other machine shop in the Emerald Coast area. What got me was the word probably

I told the guy I live our of state. I needed my block bored over. After 3 days i came back with the bigger pistons I ordered and he said it would be sometime next week. I didn't have enough money for him to work on it anytime soon.so he just cares about big ticket items. I have to figure out what to do now because I'm in a hotel until I get the motor fixed to drive back to colorado. Shop is garbage.

So far three experiences with these guys through friend recommendations and myself...
Please, do yourself a favor and find another place to bring your engine work if your short on time. I have a feeling these guys may not last long in this business... When I brought the heads in, i was informed they would be tested by the next day or two for leaks( by the end of the week) to know what I'm dealing with... took a few weeks before getting back with me ignored my calls and wasted 3 months of my time... very knowledgeable but just be sure to ask how busy they are first and if you have a small job, you better go elsewhere. They will put all bigger jobs in front of you (even weeks later) . Its a
"No line" business here so be aware your wasting your time before you go if it's a small job under 1.5-10k. Also, the owner will talk you into doing things that arnt necessary just so later
he'll have more time and excuses as to why to orginal job "reason" you are there is not done yet and ofcourse that's because what he recommended to do is not done yet because it takes time...
