A fun afternoon at Tropical Winery yesterday. An interesting choice of wines and beers. Local music, complimnted by a beautiful breeze, and a good crowd. Charcuterie and snacks as well as a delicious food truck. Afternoon well spent. #stevensleavin

I was visiting my sister in Florida and we decided to drive the almost 2 hours to check out this winery.Did not disappoint!!! the gentlemen that did our tasting was very kind and knowledgeable! The charcuterie board and chips and salsa were perfect accompaniments to the glasses of wine we enjoyed! We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful sunny day with a view of the grapevines. Would definitely do you repeat visit!!!

This is a great place full of surprises: your fruits’ wines are marvelous, your cheese and sausage tables are superior and the whole environment has no equal. The music and the patrons were great too. It seemed to be a family party. We will return

It's the best venue ever!!! Great host and hostess, lovely place for a birthday party in a country setting. It has a great party area, plenty of parking, a variety of drinks/wines, and you can have a good old time.

This was a great surprise on our drive. I love small and family run wineries. The lady helped us find the wine we liked, allowing us to sample 3 and bought 2 wines. She told me how I should serve the wine and explained how her husband makes them. The place was very cozy and had a good seating outside.

Incredible hospitality, a fantastic variety of sweet and dry wines, delicious charcuterie board with great presentation, and a fun outdoor space with games and ample seating. Came with my family on a Tuesday afternoon and had a wonderful time.

What a great place! I saw it on my way up to West coast and vowed to stop on way back. VERY GLAD I did.

Tropical winery is small, quaint and packs a punch. This local winery has a beer flight, has local wines, and even a live band on Saturdays. Im told line dancing on Thursday nights.

I had a 4 ipa flight, took home a mango wine and blueberry jam infused with burbon. Cant wait to try.

I met a lovely local, Bonnie, who restored my faith in humanity. Bonnie, saw that I was alone in one of her favourite spots, came over and chatted. What a lovely soul.

As my phone was dying, the manager/owner allowed me to use her charger to get some juice to take photos. What a community.

All in all, quite a lovely spot in a great town, Lake Placid, Florida. No gators seen.
