Up date to my poor review of AIR FX, The owner contacted me and sent a new Teck out to do the maintenance they advertised .The new guy went out of his way and I was happy with the work he did .I will make them a three star now and a five star if they come back as they promised in a few weeks.>>> I recently had Airfxac do a maintenance cleaning on my Trane unit for $129. It was to include everything that was explained to me by the service representative that I scheduled the appointment with. That list of items is in their ad online. She explained it was to clean the evaporator coil, condenser coil, flush the drain line and much more. Not only did they do a poor job, less than a month later my unit broke down for the first time ever with a backed-up drain line which shut my thermostat off giving me no air. On this maintenance call the maintenance man said the coil looked fine in which I looked at the coil and there was a moldlike substance was growing on the top of the evaporator coil and I told him it was not ok that it needed to be cleaned. He sprayed a non-rinse coil cleaner on it, I asked him about checks regarding the capacitor and contactor and he said these units did come with those components. He never flushed the drain line and never went around to the back of the house where the drain line is. Condenser is in the front side of home with built cover on top of it and raised. All he did was rinse with water hose he used no coil cleaner for outdoor unit, nor did he open it up and remove any debris from the outdoor condenser. Just the water did not clean the coils and the condenser. It was still full of leaves. I tried calling the office to speak with service manager and they never returned my call.
This technician appeared to be not into his maintenance job at all. I guess he felt less was best. Not a satisfied Customer at all.

AirFx fixed my air conditioner motor - they didn't have the correct one, but used something in place until the correct one was available the next day. Very happy with that. Had some issues with the invoice. I paid all in full and months later they were sending me the invoice to pay. I had to send my copy for them to find it - somehow it wasn't in their system? Just odd. But otherwise good experience.

Called AirFX a few weeks ago about a system. Salesman came promptly, he was polite, professional and knowledgeable. We ended up contracting for a variable speed unit, along with relocating the heat pump compressor to a more appropriate location and to relocate the thermostat.

Originally scheduled installation for a Thursday, they called on Monday and said they had an opening on Tuesday, two days earlier. Great.

Four guys showed up at 8:30. Of course they called first. Hard working guys, great attention to detail. Worked all day, and about 5 o’clock a young man came in to install the thermostat. Of course, he didn’t know that it was to be moved. He went back outside, he forgot to close the door and we listened for 20 minutes about what a Jack ass idea moving the thermostat was, I’m leaving most of the colorful phrases out of course.

I guess they figured out that the door was open and we could hear everything. So they came in to explain, that a remote sensor in a different location would take care of the temperature variance. Makes sense, sounds good.

They said the office would call about the follow up. They did, they scheduled the system checkup and sensor install for a Wednesday.

They called Wednesday morning, apologized for running late, explained they were in a customer service meeting. Nice guys

Oops, they had no idea we had the thermostat that we had, and a wired sensor wouldn’t work, and they had to locate a remote sensor. But anyway, I was told that by close of business on Wednesday we would know when it would be installed.

We are still waiting.

One other issue, the person who calls the county to schedule the permit review is never available. Called four times, nada, so called the county myself.

It seems to me that they do very good work, but there are pieces missing.

Would we use them again, honestly don’t know.

Do I want anything, nope. I don’t need a call from the owner or manager.

FX Air, here in Citrus County I would highly recommend! The tech Thomas, was here for a full service to my unit and replaced a part that was under warranty. He then came inside and completely cleaned out and serviced the handler. There was an ongoing problem with the duct, that was originally put in. Thomas took the time to find the problem and will come back to properly fix the problem. I am a first responder and it is refreshing to have a company that is honest and thorough. I would like to thank Steve, who started the ball rolling on my air conditioning service! I would highly recommend FX air for your air conditioning needs! Lots of sub par companies out there. I could not be happier with their professionalism and being so thorough!

Tech's Jesse, Castro, and Mason came out to replace the door assembly (which was too small and broken ) on my air return, They were professional and worked as a team to remove and replace with a larger assembly , cutting drywall etc..cleaning up as they went. Job well done!

Our AC started cycling, it would run for 30 seconds and then shutdown. It an older unit, so we were dreading the news. I called this morning and our tech (Kyle) showed up before lunchtime. Interesting thing was, the unit started working fine just before he arrived. I explained the issue we were having and Kyle diagnosed the issue in about 3 minutes. Clogged float valve in the drain line. I asked Kyle to do a quick once over of the unit and he also found a weak capacitor to our compressor fan. Everything else looked fine. In the end I was expecting a bill twice what we were charged, so needless to say, we were pleased with the promptness, the young lady that scheduled the servicing, the great service we received from Kyle and the reasonable charge. Thanks Air FX, we will definitely recommend you.

AirFx - specifically Deanna, Thomas and Wes are true community heroes.

Where do I begin? I bought a house and neglected to transfer the warranty for my AC in a timely manner. In fairness to me, I had a septic system and electrical panel to replace urgently and I simply flaked on the AC legwork I should have done.

When my AC failed during another 1000 degree Friday, I called AirFx for help as they were the company who installed the unit in 2019 (I was not the homeowner at the time). When Thomas found a blown coil, he explained to me that I had to talk to office because I clearly flaked on transferring the warranty (my words - not his). He suggested getting some window units while parts got ordered and details got worked out. He was very kind and understanding of the panic that was broiling inside of me and assured me that in either case, they'd get it handled with integrity and work with me the best they could for my situation and oversight. That was on a Saturday.

I called the office Monday morning in sheer panic mode (with tears and dollar signs in my eyes), and reached Deanna - who is a fast talker but one with compassion and empathy. She provided me guidance and language to call Trane and attempt in getting my warranty changed over even though I was beyond the time limit. She gave me the numbers I needed for contact and for the warranty. She told me while I was doing that, she would vouch for my labor warranty to try and get that done, while looking at ordering parts for the changeout.

I spent some time Monday successfully getting the Trane warranty changed into my name, using Deanna's advice and suggested language. Trane was also very easy to work with and exceptionally understanding of my plight.

I left Deanna alone on Tuesday, with the gut feeling she was making it happen for me. When I called back Wednesday, she confirmed that most of the parts were ordered and we could pencil me in for a Friday fix. I checked in again Thursday and she kindly let me know that she was able to get the Labor Warranty changed and confirmed Trane was covering my parts. I was all set for Friday.

Well today, Wes showed up on time with a call ahead and within hours had me fixed up and cooling. I annoyed him with all sorts of coil and ac related questions and he patiently explained the answers to me. He was super courteous and clean in my home, and temporarily fixed some of the parts that are backordered until fall. He killed it in the very best way!

I am so happy and lucky that the previous owners chose AirFx for this install. As the new owner of the home, AirFx stood by me on their work, honored their word, assisted with manufacturing rigamaroll that was above their decision making ability, and overall kept me from having a heart attack this week.

I am so very thankful for Deanna, Thomas and Wes for their kindness and to the company for creating a culture built on integrity. Keep up the good work AirFx!
