Kudos to Amanda and AVY Productions! My experience was unique and personal. From the initial consultation, getting to know me was the means to personalized photos. Amanda made a home visit to help in wardrobe selection so there was no last minute stress. Hair and makeup was set-up when I arrived the day of the shoot. When I turned around for the reveal, I felt delightfully amazed! My hair style and makeup were enhanced rather than glamorized. Amanda truly listened during conversations, using personal phrases to set a stage for a relaxed, authentic shoot. Telling a story of a favorite time with my deceased aunt created a heartfelt, photo storyboard.

Amanda is always so wonderful to work with! I am a dancer and I have worked with Amanda several times before on dance films and dance photoshoots, and I always have such a great time!

Amanda’s studio is small and quaint- but she always uses her space to it’s fullest potential. She always makes me feel so confident, comfortable, and genuinely beautiful. If you’re not a “natural” in front of the camera, Amanda is so good at directing and posing her subjects. She knows what looks good and has such an eye for capturing the personality and individuality of her subject. It’s so evident that she’s extremely passionate about what she does! She also provided me with an extensive prep list before the shoot day to make sure I felt prepared so that I was able to be fully present and just enjoy my shoot day.

Overall, I highly recommend shooting with Amanda. The experience, the photos, and the confidence that it builds is so worth it.

Amanda is such a hype man behind the camera! Makes you feel beautiful and gives you ideas on how to pose, so don’t feel intimidated you won’t know what to do.
