I Own 2 alti devices. I bought them from a local dealer. I maintain, keep, use and charge both devices the same way, and I put less than or about 400 jumps only within 4 years. One device was sent for repairs twice already (same issue on top of others). The main issue is the USB port that fails and breaks. The company charges $75 for a basic repair and insists to pay a $18 shipment fee to return the device. Thus, expect to spend at least $100 each time. And stay without your device handy for at least 2 weeks. The repair warranty is for 6 months only, even if you don’t use it within these 6 months, you are no longer covered after 6 months. There is obvious presence of super glue, the port is placed back with the use of the glue instead of brazing means, for example (so the port is placed back once and forever). No wonder I gotta send it back every other year. The actual device retail price is about $350. Each repair may cost at least $100. What kind of quality of a product that is if it has to be repaired all the time? The battery failed often. It dropped down all of a sudden during the free fall too. The company states the device was made in 2015. But I bought it from the dealer like 5-6 years later. I assumed the device was new. The company states they finally replaced the battery but they don’t want to disclose the year the battery was made, thus, I have no record and evidence of the battery info. If I want to sell the device I cannot give any guaranty to any potential buyer. The company refused to check other issues I mentioned unless I pay for that too. They state they can’t meet my standards and requirements.The device often glitches and doesn’t show the information correctly (even the temperature differs often). The Customer service rep (Carole) is responsive and nice until the moment you Zelle them your funds. After that you won’t hear back from them and/or they would not even move their butt to check what was done during the repairs and you have to wait for the device be sent back with the piece of paper that proudly states: You should enjoy your Atlas at least another 10 years from now without any service needed!”. That’s a manufacturer's false and misleading statement that contradicts the reality and actual facts. This device wasn’t used for 10 years yet and was sent back for repairs twice already. The company refuses to take ownership and accountability the device has a manufacture issues and/or is not well repaired each time.
The company states I have to deal with the dealer and not the manufacturer. The company (aka manufacturer) provides the dealer is not their legal representative, however, by referring to those who distribute their products (and they do know each other well because the community is so tiny) I reasonably believe the dealer has an apparent authority to act on behalf of the principal.
Basically, the company washes hands and walks away. Any questions related to repairs that were done - are left unanswered. There is no actual evidence and confirmation what is claimed to be done was actually done, the emails remain ignored; anything can be printed on a piece of paper. The fact remains the fact: the device was sent back for repairs every other year already.
Again, I am happy with one device that is maintained equally with the one that fails all the time. I don’t recommend to buy their products OR do buy the product and cross your fingers with the hope the product you buy is not going to fail and if it fails realize that your concerns and expectations are not going to be addressed and met.

Own two Alti-2 altimeters: Neptune2 and Atlas. Both superb products, especially the last one.
But best of all is the outstanding customer service that they provide. They sent me a free replacement for my old Neptune2 even though it broke at no fault of their own. They really do stand behind their products! I know my next altimeter will most definitely be another Alti.

I over tightened the screws on the battery cover for my Neptune 2 and cracked it. They sent a replacement cover at no charge and I had it in less than a week.

Terrible customer service, bought an Altimeter that came defective, I had to send it back 3 times for repair, payed for repairs and I still haven´t got it back or a reply on what is wrong with it!! Will never buy from them again!!!! Stay away from this company!!
