Stopped by Persimmon the day before a cruise. Loved the outdoor space! Red bricks on the ground, a park across the street. Fantastic vibes and fantastic place.

It was a cooler day in Orlando, but on this shit ones the interior is spacious with that cool concrete feel.

The lager on tap was killer and I so was their IPA. Add it to your Orlando list!

Decent beers. Unscrupulous staff. I found $100 on the ground and turned it in. They insisted they must keep it for 30 days. I waited the 30 days and never got a call back despite leaving my number with the manager and in person. I also called and left a voicemail after the 30 days and never received a call back. I have to assume they kept it for themselves. Very disappointing.

Revising to respond to owners comment. I find that very hard to believe since I returned to claim it at 10pm the same night and it still had not been claimed. I also called a few days later and spoke with the bartender I turned it into and he gave me the managers name. He said to call back and speak to him about next steps, which was to wait the full 30 days and call back. He would have told me then since he was the one working that night. Then when i spoke with you, you failed to inform me it had been claimed. I left my number multiple times to receive updates and never received a call. The only logical conclusion to draw is Persimmon Hollow kept the cash. I stand my my original review.

The ambiance is open and airy and seems like a really cool repurpose of an old existing building. They have counter service with a few tasty beer options they seem to brew on location. This is a fun meeting spot with friends or just hang out and try to meet new friends. All the staff is nice and seems to really know the locals which is always a good sign. We have been a few times and will definitely be back when we’re in the area. Tell them Brian sent you.

Such a wonderful place! Lived here for a year and finally made my way to downtown deland with my husband and we strolled into this place. Mo was our bartender and it was quite lovely. Beer was so fantastic that we had a couple each and left for Tony's to get some pizza and then immediately came back. Will definitely be returning

Last time I was in there they had no toilet paper. I let the bartender know, and she was very nice and apologetic, but told me they didn't have any. Also it's frigid in there. They keep the sliding garage door open throughout the winter and it's kind of hard to chill when you're literally being chilled. Bring a jacket. Their staff is great but its has its quirks.

Neatly hidden on a small side street in downtown Deland, you’ll find Persimmon Hollow brewing. Located in a former warehouse, they’ve integrated a taproom and brewery into a welcoming space that feels open, but not too vast.

Unfortunately, we arrived too late to hop on the pub crawl that was taking place to support local firefighters. The place was packed and selections were a little more limited than usual, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying a pint of their flagship, Beach Hippie IPA.

We stopped into Persimmon Hollow Brewing today to escape the rain and to try a few beers. The selection on the menu was good so we tried a flight. We enjoyed talking to the affable bartender and we made friends with other customers we talked to at the bar. The clientele there was a good group. Our beers were great too, but there were more we wanted to try, so another flight. We found the ones we liked most, so we took some to go in cans to enjoy later. We turned a rainy day into a fun time at the brewery.
