I recently retired after 21 years in the Air Force and made contact with Anthony Workman on my VA claim. He was very courteous, professional and answered all my questions. I’d call often for updates or to get a status and he was more than willing to help. Many times I was unable to get proper forms downloaded online and he’d provide me digital copies to make the process go more smoothly. This was my first experience with a VSO and having Anthony walk me through the process was painless. He’s definitely a key component of the local veterans office here in Bay county!

I have had amazing service with the Veterans Office in Bay County! Rita has been an absolute pleasure to work with and has answered every question I have had, to include some asked multiple times. The VA claim process can be extremely stressful, but she understands and takes care of her Veterans and knows the process very well. Last month my wife and I had the honor of returning to the Bay County Veterans Service Office where we saw old and new employees. We got to attend the Memorial Day Service where we saw more of our friends. The office is helping veterans and their families. The new computer system allows them to provide quicker responses from the VA. Give them a call. They are experts. I know, I trained John and Mike.

Bay County Vet Services has removed over 45 one star reviews complaining about the way BCVS acting director violated a blind Veterans rights, refused service, stole his visual assistance aids and called police to throw him out of business on 7 March 2023. September Sims behaved in the most abhorrent manner to a disabled vet and then lied to him the next day when the Vet called to report her behavior to her supervisor; Sims should be fired along with the unidentified woman at the counter who have no idea how to be professional and treat veterans with respect. Why don't you remove Sims from her position instead of removing the reviews of her unethical behavior?

Mrs. Cheatham is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Couldn’t believe how rapid my claim was processed.
Claim was submitted on Monday and Wednesday I had three appointments for exams.

They need some serious customer relationship coaching and mentoring. They seem to not care for veterans needs. Receptionist hates her job and should get a different line of work. This office lacks accountability and professionalism which starts from the top.
