Excellent team at Champion Homes Center! Best customer service I’ve ever seen! Kim is so attentive, knowledgeable and friendly and she keeps snacks in her office! And the Project coordinator Cherylyn is amazing! She keeps your project right on track and lets you know everything you need to know the whole way! I have been to many other dealerships in Florida, but it’s the only one I’d EVER buy from! Make sure if you’re buying a house, you go see them at Champion in Lake city! You won’t be sorry!

The quality and overall workmanship of our home we purchased from this company is deplorable.
We purchased what was supposed to be the “Mercedes” version of a Champion Home. The experience and craftsmanship was everything but that.

To start things off, the house was delayed for 4 months. We were delayed for 2 months because their engineer couldn’t seem to figure out how to engineer our floorplan, so they had to hire a new one. Then their only quality control inspector was on an extended vacation. Then they couldn’t figure out how to transport the home under the required DOT height. 4 months of wasted time that was completely preventable.
And don’t expect to ever get anyone live on the phone or ever get anyone to call you back.
When we did speak to Marie once in service, she promised to call us back after speaking to the service manager that day about our unresolved issues. This was after waiting for weeks for things to be done that should have been basic items. That was 6 days ago and we still have not heard ANYTHING from ANYONE!
Bryan in sales attempted to assist but we were also ghosted by him after our loan closed. They got their money and didn’t want to deal with us anymore.

Issues included everything from drywall cracks (every single interior corner of the house had a floor to ceiling crack and/or sloppy drywall work), ceiling cracks, plumbing issues (leak under the house that created a “bubble” and caused water damage under the house and faucets that have no water pressure), exterior doors not closing or locking, baseboards missing, overspray on EVERYTHING (drapes, blinds, trim, lights, doors and floors), walls not straight, caulking missing, drywall they “repaired” that looked worse than what it was originally. Overall just completely sloppy craftsmanship in every way.
I have fought with this company for a month about these issues and there still has been nothing done about them. I was forced to hire my own workers to complete the mess they left (and I’m planning to send them the bill I incurred).
Also, be prepared that the home will not be move in ready. You will need to spend at least 3 plus days cleaning all the dust and paint splatters on every single surface.
I have never had an experience with a company with such poor with communication and quality, especially spending $200,000 plus.
DO NOT purchase a home from this company. Save yourself the nightmare.

My wife and I purchased a Champion manufactured home in a community in Sorrento Florida. As a home builder for 25+ years I have extensive experience with home inspections and punch lists. When I walked through with the manager of the community I pointed out some issues I saw and was assured that they would be resolved by Champion. Upon signing the sales contract we were told to perform a detailed punch list before our belongings arrived so they wouldn’t be blamed on the moving company or us. Well 3 pages later, from minor aesthetic issues in most areas of the house to more major problems we had quite the list! As with any new dwelling, there are some problems which don’t come to your attention until you actually start living there and try to utilize certain things. This manufactured home shouldn’t have even left the facility where it was built if there was the least of quality control!!!!! Trying to deal with the company to get these issues resolved is like pulling teeth and from 09/2024-02/2025 very little has been accomplished. A subcontractor was here for 7 days around Thanksgiving and resolved a few problems but not a bit of communication from the manufacturer since 12/02/2024! Do NOT purchase a Champion home if you are in the market because they are by far the, the WORST company I’ve EVER dealt with in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!
