All the nurses and doctors I had from emergency room to my own room were so very helpful. Kept me posted about everything they were doing. Always courteous and polite. Hit the button they right there to help you out of bed or whatever you need help with. I love the way the nurses when changing shifts come in and introduce the next shift and they are right on it. Keep up the great work.

Do the nurses here start their shifts by walking around the hospital and introducing themselves to every patient until their shift ends? I've only been here for 3 days, but I’ve met about 20 new names and faces that I would never see again. It’s wild how many people come through!

Kidding aside, I truly enjoyed my stay here thanks to my nurses and tech. Due to the blood loss caused by my condition, my brain wasn’t functioning properly, and I struggled to process information and communicate, including slurred speech at times. Despite this, the staff responsible for my care were incredibly supportive and understanding. Everyone here was exceptional and friendly. They treated me with respect and kindness, always responding quickly. A special shoutout to my nurses and tech: Alexander, Carlos, and Rowana. This hospital truly has some of the best people in the world, and I’m grateful to have been under their care.

Alex went above and beyond to make me feel cared for. He was exceptional, kind, understanding, funny, and incredibly caring. Alex was truly the best of the best, and I’ll always keep him in my heart. May God bless him, wherever he may be.

How comes that, only one person can change the whole experience.

I came here after visiting 2 urgent cares. A long story short, my mother that I had never seen before complaining about any pain is crying of pain, everything start amazing people in the lobby and triage where courteous and gentle, our nurse, Leonardo Cruz, was super accurate, and professional, whit a lot of empathy helps my mother and 20 minutes later my mother has IV medication and fell asleep, so far so good, some other nurse (Maria Estrada), came to order a CT Scan, when she was in severe pain, about her nothing but good thoughts, she was professional courteous and caring, the type of help that you came looking in a hospital, and that's how I always see Advent Heal before, for previous experiences. When the person who supose to take here to the CT scan came to pickup her, I told him that after a big stressfully night she was just able to overcome a little bit of pain and fall asleep, so I rather to give her half an hour of rest before we do the whole process of lifting from the bed to take her to the CT Scan, the young man just stepped out and i went to look for the nurse that was helping us before, he wasn't on his station cause he was helping in some other run with a patient, that was being help for many others at the same time, so he seems to be busy, I decided to wait outside the room hopping that he will be available soon, and thinking at the same time about what will be more convenient for my mother at the moment, do the CT scan right now, and keep moving in severe pain, or just give her 30 minutes of rest and let the IV medication do his part to, make her process easier, in that moment I was asked if I needed any help, (in the rude way that you will ask a homeless walking in front of your house), i didn't wanted to take it personal cause I know in emotionally affected cause my mother's situation, I explained the situation to Nurse Leader (Christina), about my mom's pain and that I was just hopping to be able to speak with the nurse that was helping us to confirm what was the best for her, in that moment she told me "if she have to do the CT scan she has to do the CT scan", i holded my breath again and i told her that i wanted to speak with his nurse, before to do anything, then she told me "he is busy now", in that moment I told her that i didn't wanted to talk with her anymore, cause I didn't wanted to be disrespectful with her, but as a human if someone is being an @$hole and you are in a stressfully situation you may react in a negative way, thats why I just went back to my mom's room, but before I saw her walking in to the room when the nurse I was looking to talk with was working, talking loud about the situation in the most unprofessional, childish and uneducated way and after I asked her name to do this review is when I found out that she was the supervisor of the person I was looking for, and she just acted like an @$hole, again, the goal of coming here was to take care of my mother's situation and was taken care, it could be a 5 stars experience like always but just one person, change it at all, and at the same time being a supervisor personel is teaching the employees under her supervision what is the "way to do the stuff" cause humans learns more from the example than anything. What a horrible role model.

Those 2 stars are 1 for Leonardo and 1 one for Maria

Recent ER visit turned observation was the most horrendous experience I've ever had. Asked for medication in the ER twice and never received to be told that I would get it on the floor. Get to the floor and no meds given. When I ask about meds I am told there is no order and did I ask the nurse practitioner when she was there. I advised I had already requested the meds in the ER.

The next bad experience was with the cardiologist. He entered my room without acknowledging myself or himself. My mom had to go ask him who he was.

Then I'm told that I am being discharged even though I am still in the same pain as when I entered and have no answers why. When I ask for answers I am told that the tests performed are normal and I'm stable. I again ask them what is causing pain and told to follow-up with my PCP. I ask if I can request additional consults or tests and am advised that I cannot since I'm not admitted. I am basically advised I have no rights to question anything and that if I didn't leave I would be escorted out by security and could be trespassed.

I requested pain meds over an hour prior to being told I was being discharged for the nurse to advise I couldn't get the medications because policy states she cannot give anything within 2 hours of discharge.

I then requested to get more answers about the pain so the nurse put a call into the doctor. While waiting she gave me the meds and some food since I hadn't eaten anything in over 24 hours. Once I ate my symptoms got worse but no one wanted to listen. The doctor supposedly called back after 2.5 hours to say that I was discharged but this was only after I had asked to speak with the charge nurse. The charge nurse came with another nurse to my room making me feel like he needed a hitch man to talk to me. The charge on my board never spoke to me.

This hospitalist group is horrible. I left this hospital and went to celebration for additional evaluation since I was now having additional symptoms and the physician there requested an admission and this hospitalist group refused and told the doctor to figure it out in the ER. They also informed the ER doctor that I was difficult.

I will never go to this facility again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone I know which is a lot since I work in the medical building next door.

The experience at your hospital was horrendous, from the get go having to wait almost 4 hours for the surgery was bad, then immediately after surgery I was ignore as I ask to go to the restroom although I had a probe nobody took the time to tell me and kept talking to each other like I was none existan. Once in my room as I came out the influence of anesthesia I went to the bathroom finding it was flat out filthy, I will attach pictures. During my stay I also had problems with the way my post surgery was manage in which I wasn’t offer anything to alíviate my abdominal bloating discomfort other than hard drugs and the only alternative that was given to me was quote “tell him walk” as I did and the bloating in my stomach didn’t easy the nurse called again for instructions and the answer was “tell him to keep walking” and I did it to the length of 3.1 miles around the nurses station. Other things that were really bad the bed only good if I weight 50 lbs or less and lastly the food including that served in the cafeteria was nasty. Over all I think the administration of your hospital should be fire and the place should be shot down and clean up removing all the mold and cleaning every nasty spot on sight. And then reopen anything else won’t cut it.

Brought my mom here for chest pain through ER , nurses were awesome and staff conducting tests were great admitted us at 10 am on sat and till 530 pm on Sunday still no answer from doctor of what reports look like and what is further course of action. All tests completed by 1000 am on Sunday and since than internal medicine doctor confirmed all looks good but waiting for heart specialist to look at reports and advise further course of action , mother is tired , she is vegetarian and food here for veg is not that tasty and tired with all the wires and need answer so we can go home but no answer yet. How long of a wait for doctor to read report and advise further course to patient is reasonable ? Keep us in blind is terrible. Advent health is one of best hospitals and ER always helps us out but this experience almost made my mom say never going back to hospitals and ER for treatments and better to just leave in pain at home which is not good.

It's hard for me to even give 1 star 🌟. This is the worst Hospital and Staff I have ever had to be in and deal with, just a horrible four day experience. NOT RECOMMENDED. You don't know your Dr. You don't get the correct medicine. Your Nurse's ignore you, instead of answering your call button. The Nurse's will not let you eat for 30 hours because a test that is supposedly ordered, is never done! Your phone does not work. The machine to monitor you does not work. No machine to take blood pressure. The Staff does NOT know how or where to turn on the lights, I had to show them. Pathetic is a good word. They stuck me so many times, they finally called in an Ultrasound Certified person to find a vein. He was disastrous, I still have marks on my arm, today is 1-16-2024. Unreal!
Avoid at all cost! You write to them, they contact you, talk, still nothing is done. A complete waste of time. They don't care, they didn't experience what you did!! They can show all the Empathy they want, it still doesn't help what you went through and how you were treated. Which was with total lack of Respect, Caring and 4 days of Miserable Healthcare. I'm trying to add the photo of my arm with the Ultrasound aftermath that lasted forever. Success, photo #9, then they send me a bill for $525.00, I don't think so! I forgot to add, never offered a gown to wear, no wash cloth, towel, toiletries, had the same clothes(mine) the whole time. This is a goodie, received my Welcome booklet the day I was released. It explained everything in there, that I didn't know. It was just horrible!!
