On two consecutive occasions, I purchased boxes of green plantains from Kissimmee Produce—one for $36 and the other for $38. However, upon opening the boxes, I discovered a mix of plantains at different stages of freshness. Moreover, Kissimmee Produce combines different varieties of bananas that are not of the same type, affecting the overall quality of the product.This experience has deeply disappointed me.What are they trying to achieve by doing this?

This establishment is not an actual produce shop. It's more like a Latin food store. The produce are very limited. The isles are cluttered and dirty. They have typically the same thing st walmart and it's cheaper at walmart.

I dont recommend this establishment.

The meats are fresh but poor customer service in the butcher area if you are English speaking only. They are rude and impatient, nasty, and disrespectful. They want to cut the meat how they want to and if you object they will still try to sell it to you. I made a complaint but by the time I returned with another employee they removed the peace of meat I complain about. The employee could care less about the complaint as he hurried away. They use the same cleaning cloth to wipe down the table which wiped up turkey beef and pork blood. If you do not watch them they will place your meat on the same dirty contaminated cloth. I DO NOTICE THAT NONE SPANISH CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED DIFFERENTLY BACK THERE. The cashiers and fish department great and so customer service as expected even if they do not understand English.

At the store prices for vegetables and fruits are less than Walmart . Big choice of seafood and fish, and good meat selection. Many fruits and vegetables. Being in this store, you are as if immersed in a Latin atmosphere. There is friendly staff ready to help at any time.

I went to the meat section to buy goat meat. The pieces were very large and they told me they don’t cut goat meat even though other people there were having all kinds of meat cut. No one eats giant pieces of goat meat. They should stop selling goat if they can’t cut it up.
