Chris is a master at his profession, if you need any welding/fabrication work done he should definitely be your go to guy. I’m new to the area and needed some custom fabrication work done. I reached out to Chris and told him what I needed done and he got the work finished with plenty of time to spare. He was quick to respond and new exactly what I needed done with minimal details. He even went above and beyond and helped me install the product on my trailer at no additional cost. The workers were friendly as well, great group of guys. We will see ya next time, when I need some more work done?

After making my delivery earlier today in Talladega, I spent the day at the nearby Truck Stop.
I realized my on-board Generator needed an Oil change. The access to the drain plug was blocked and I needed a welder.
Thanks to Google I found Chris Scaife at

Professional, thorough and just super person
he is. He literally went out of his way to get me going.
In the process I met the crew (names elude me) at GRIMES Automotive. It was for me a blessing to have met and spent some time in the presence of these fine gentlemen!

My son owns this welding company and he does very good work. He learned his craft at the Naval Shipyard in Virginia building submarines and aircraft carriers. If the Navy trusts him to do submarines you can likely trust him for your project.

Overcharged told me to leave his shop. I paid and took my lower unit . Pieces to another fabrication shop. Yes he took it apart welded the part off about 5⁰ and didn't put it back together. He wont be around long doing business like this. Looks like he's struggling as it is.
