We had a fantastic experience at Key West First Legal Rum Distillery! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the visit enjoyable from start to finish. Loved learning that their rum is made using Florida-sourced sugar cane, which highlights their commitment to quality and local ingredients.

The tour was free, and our guide was both knowledgeable and fun, making the experience entertaining and educational. To top it off, we purchased a frozen piña colada to enjoy during the tour—it was absolutely delicious!

This is a small-scale distillery that truly focuses on producing top-quality rum. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Key West!

Oh Hell Yes you have to stop in here!!! I highly suggest taking the Mojito class! Crystal was so Awesome and knowledgeable! The Rum is off the chart delicious!!

Take the tour if for no other reason than you get a sample that will exceed expectations! Lots to grab while you are on vacation including travel size bottles. They want you to find the rum you’ll enjoy the most

Their piña colada is also the best we had on our stay. You will enjoy it!

Went there for the free tour, the ladies at the storefront were more than courteous. I had so many questions and requests and they accommodated me gracefully. The tour itself was nice and short. They showed us why they had no-hangover rums. Got a drink at the bar, and I could actually taste all the notes and flavours as described. Lovely experience

They give you free tours of their distilling process every 30 minutes. We tried a couple of their rum flavors after, and got pina coladas. Their pina colada mix was so delicious with pineapple pieces in it! Highly recommended!

Be sure to stop in for a free tour & get a pina colada to enjoy! I don't normally like pina coladas because they're often made like crappy syrupy flavored or too artificial coconut-heavy, but Key West Legal makes 'em heavy on the pineapple. Like fresh chunks of pineapple. Delicious.
