First time stopping in because I could no longer resist the smell in f the smoker.
We picked up a couple of aged ribeye steaks. I had high expectations because they weren’t cheap.. we’ll I wasn’t disappointed, I could’ve cut it with a butter knife l, and the taste would rival any five star steakhouse in my IMHO. It was one of the best steaks this old man has ever had. Super nice people too. I will most certainly be back.

Butcher shop and Southern BBQ joint all rolled into one. Ribs and pulled pork were both excellent albeit a bit pricey at $38 a slab. The steaks, sausages etc for sale in the butcher shop were very reasonably priced. Very nice and helpful staff. I'll be stopping there again.

BBQ smelled great but I came for the butcher and put in an order that the man said they had in stock and would be ready for me by next day - I should have known it wouldn’t work out when he didn’t take down my name, number, nothing. The next day I showed up in the middle of the afternoon (he also didn’t specify a time) and he told me it would be another hour and a half because my meat was being cut and ground at the slaughterhouse. I was a little disappointed because I don’t live in Crystal River and had to go out of my way to get there but we agreed I would come back the following day at 4pm. I called the next day at 3:30 to let him know I was on the way and he said he had to finish up a couple things and then drive over to the slaughterhouse to get my order because it wasn’t there and he would call me back in 20 minutes. I told him okay, I would wait at the shop because, again, I don’t live in the area so I have no where else to wait or pass time. I arrive at the shop 25 minutes later and then an additional 30 minutes of me sitting there with the shop closed down and no one in sight, I left. It’s been almost 24 hours and I still haven’t gotten a call back from Larry lol.

Stopped by yesterday for some custome cut ribeyes for my wife and myselves wedding anniversary. 1.5" cut and these babies were beautiful. So completely marbleized and the trim was perfect. I ran a reverse sear on these smoking at 220 for 45 min to an hour. Take them off the grill and get it up to 500 and sear. Should come out like this smoke masterpiece.

We are New to area, and went out this evening and stumbled upon this place, what a gem in the ruff, starting with the owner and all,,, very professional and such a powerful amount of FAITH here. I encourage all to join them, for a sandwich or a meal...
The food is TOP SHELF...
We ordered a Cuban sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and a full rack of ribs. Needless to say, we were unable to eat all at one sitting for sure, won't go to waste... You will see US stop by often

They get two stars because the ladies working the counter were absolutely lovely...but the food, was not. We spent nearly 50 bucks on my husband, myself and my daughter to eat 2 sanwiches and a 3 rib meal and no one enjoyed their food sadly. The brisket was dry and fatty at the same time, my pulled pork had no sauce and was very greasy, and my husbands ribs were so cold and tough he couldn't get the meat off of the bone. Its a great idea but just maybe look into hiring a seasoned, experienced pit boss and I could imagine this idea taking off!

The steaks we bought were incredible and the ribs they made were out of this world . I can’t say enough good things about this place . We went back 3 times to eat their amazing sandwiches and pies. I just want to go back to crystal river to eat their food again . Best of all Larry and his wife exuded southern hospitality and kindness. Thank you so much for making our vacation very memorable.
