This is a beautiful resort in Key West. We visited this resort for my birthday. Initially we were a little skeptical of the location. But the area was very safe and you could walk freely from the resort if you wanted or take the resort shuttle downtown. I wanted to give the resort a 5; however, our bed and bathroom linens did have stains on them more than once during our stay. The 1st night we arrived (it was after 10) there were very limited staff so I did not receive my welcome gift and it took hours for us to receive assistance once we got to our room. Eventually security came to assist with our bedding issues (1 in the morning) stating he was the only one working at that time. I will say the resort quickly rectified everything the next day and continually checked on us via text during our stay. The hospitality overall was great and the property and views are gorgeous. A bit pricey in my opinion for the quality of rooms but I would suggest it if that is not a concern of yours. Two nights in what was considered one of their best rooms was roughly $1300 plus we had to pay for parking ($60). I will say this was the 1st place I’ve seen in a while that didn’t offer parking discounts to FL residents which was a bummer. It was only offered as one of their online specials but you had to select that option to receive it which we did not.

Once you get to the property, the initial impression is positive. Lovely views from the balcony. Very nicely landscaped. Rooms nicely appointed, although I think something other than a wine frig (currently there) would be a good addition. I would suggest not requesting building three, as the view will be of a developed marine area across the water, in another part of Stock Island. Also, don't be surprised when you can chat with the folks next door on your balcony. There is no privacy in the form of a divider. It's my understanding dividers will be shortly installed. |If the Key West party scene is your goal, be aware you're about 15 minutes from all that action by car. It is accessible via the Hotel shuttle, however.|The surrounding area is pretty residential, some don't like that. It was fine for us, nice having Croissants de France and other food outlets close by.|We were a test case for a new room configuration, which they are considering. We like the old configuration, having the entry door directly in to the bedroom is not our preference.

We spent 4 days at Oceans Edge Resort and it was amazing! The resort is stunning and has everything you could want and we will definitely stay here on our next Key West trip! ||We arrived early and Sam was the first employee we met and he was beyond welcoming and helpful. He took our luggage and gave us a golf car tour of the property as well as continuing to check in with us while waiting for our room. He has such a fantastic way to make you feel welcome and relaxed immediately.||All of the hotel staff was amazing - always smiling and asking if we needed anything. The grounds were gorgeous and immaculate and we loved sitting on our balcony enjoying the fantastic views. The shuttle driver, Jeffrey, was great - full of information about the area and always willing to answer questions. The shuttles were always on time - both way, which was great as driving and parking in Old Town can be quite a challenge.||This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and cannot wait until we return. Sam was the last person we saw during our checkout and once again, he was so helpful and kind. He is truly an asset to the resort and will make you feel immediately welcome upon arrival - and missed once you leave.||Amazing resort and staff and we cannot wait to return!!

This is a fine little resort for a long weekend stay. The rooms are quite lovely, and the grounds of the resort are pretty. There is not much around, but if you don't mind being in an actual marina, the pools are very nice and it is reasonably quiet. There is a terrific shuttle that runs to downtown Key West and back. No car necessary!

This resort exceeded our expectations and we will be staying here again! The grounds, staff, rooms, activities, and amenities were excellent! We spent some time each day enjoying our balcony marina view, including sunsets. The shuttle to Old Town Key West had great hours and ran on time. Bob, our first driver, gave an excellent mini tour and city history that we really enjoyed and appreciated! We ran out of time to enjoy kayaking or swim in one of the six pools - next time!

We stayed for two weeks in this beautiful hotel and we absolutely loved it.|The property itself is so green, perfectly maintained, and the view of the marina makes it a special place. The facilities allowed us to spend hours relaxing or having fun. We enjoyed the refreshing drinks at the pool (there are six pools), the outdoor games with our son, the seaside walks during sunset, the conversations on the swings with a sea view, the live music by the fire with a drink or during dinner. During our stay, they even displayed a movie to be watched from the pool (but our baby didn't let us watch it).|We were very lucky to encounter only a friendly and excellent staff. It started with the room selection with Iván, who helped us find the best fitting type of room for our needs. We had a room with a balcony and view to the pool and the marina. The room was tastefully decorated, creating a sophisticated yet warm welcoming ambient. It was also spacious, properly equipped, and impeccably clean. |At check-in, Bryan was extremely helpful. He also took all the time we needed to make us feel truly welcomed after our long trip.|Due to our long stay, we had the opportunity to meet different servers and try many dishes at the restaurant. We want to thank the entire kitchen for the many delicious memories. Milana, Alex, Nicole or Natia were most commonly our excellent servers; we already miss them. They gave their best, and we are very grateful to them.|Claudia was the person who said goodbye to us at the reception; she made sure everything was fine with our stay. We felt that, until the last moment, we were surrounded by kind people doing a great job. |This was not our first time at Ocean's Edge, and we already look forward to the next occasion. Next time, I want to join the morning yoga classes at the pool and spend hours stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking (my little baby didn't allow us this time). This hotel is a clear recommendation.

Positive: Beautiful resort hotel with 6 pools and great amenities like free shuttle into Key West and first come first serve kayaks and group activities. Very clean! Great staff! We love plan to stay here again Negative: This resort isn?t walking distance to Key West, but they off free shuttle every hour all day. This hotel was also near the airport flight path, but I only noticed that one of our mornings

This hotel is fairly new (built in 2017 per the shuttle driver)for the area and partially surrounds the marina. We booked a king suite full ocean view room for an added cost. The third floor room in building 3 was nice, but there was no ocean view, only the harbor and a power plant view from our balcony. (See photos)

We found out after discussions with management that all third floor rooms were considered ‘ocean view’. They offered a change of room, but we had already unpacked. They did give us a bill credit for a bit less than the upgrade cost. If you stay here and want an ocean view, stay here on the third floor in buildings 1, 2 or 4. Only the last few suites in building 3 will have any kind of ocean view.

Other than that issue, the stay was pleasant, employees were nice, and the room was clean. We didn’t do any of the water activities, and the resort fee is a bit high, but on par with other similar resorts.
