At 1st it was quite nice until Feb 13 we went to eat, we hadn't gotten a flyer so we didn't know that none members were not being let in even if you were with a member. The volunteer at the door was very rude and crude. He was prejudiced that I was a women. He told me I had to wait outside on the bench. Anything I said he told me it wasn't true. He told a member if he caught him driving the wrong way again he would call the police and have them give him a ticket. We checked to see if there was a sign we didn't see one. This is not the way to treat people.

WOW!!! We couldn’t wait to come to this American legion & found NOTHING BUT RUDE from 2 Volunteers who are on POWER TRIPS —-Ruth & a lady selling Queen of HEARTS tickets. There was only 1 table available when we arrived
& we sat there. We were approached by Ruth 1st who said we could sit on one side. We moved around to the other sides of the table. Then, Queen of hearts lady approached us SEVERAL other times telling us WHERE TO SIT & that we HAD to move by 7pm prompt!!! NOT even a ….Hi, how are you Do you Mind? Can you please……
We moved at 7pm.& several others were HOVERED AROUND ALL SIDES OF THE TABLE ( even another Volunteer) UNTIL WE LEFT at 7:20pm. You were over by the Queen of Hearts Board the whole time. Really? What WAS your point? You NEVER returned to “Your” table that we HAD to move from.
They announced they needed Volunteers. A little kindness & a smile would go a LONG way. Welcoming NEW people would be something you might want to work on. Even some of your Members said they were NOT surprised the way she spoke to us.
God Bless America 🇺🇸

The largest Post in the world. It's very crowded this time of year with all of the snow birds down. Good food at reasonable prices. Bingo games 3 times a week, on Thursdays It's opened to the public. Doors open at 8:00am.

Not a legion member, but a past VFW commander, stopped by was not admitted.
Visiting the villages as a prospective owner.
Woman at the door could have had a member show me and my wife around.
I'm very disappointed for not showing me , a Vietnam veteran, a courtesy.

I guess this is the largest Legion in the nation. Lots of activities and a different menu each day of the week. We're just visitors from another Legion, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Sue and Rita, both hard working volunteers! Friday fish fry menu shown.
