Scan and go let's me skip the checkout line and pay it has many more discounted items than the regular checkout clerk. The person at the door scans the barcode from the app at the door,but doesn't have to scan the receipt for the cafe items,lol

This is my first visit to this Sam's club. I had just gotten a membership the night before online and hadn't had one in decades when I was then previously living in another state.
We got there at about 2 minutes after opening and there was a very long line out the door to get in. It took about 6 or 7 minutes to clear the entire line of people to walk in. I thought it was maybe because they were checking membership cards so I had my digital membership ready to show. But no, there was just a guy standing right inside the doorway and nobody was showing memberships. Which is fine. I don't mind that. I just don't know why it took so long to let everybody in. Of course that was a Sunday and that's not normally a day. We would shop at a big Warehouse but we had the day available and decided to go for it. Since we had a brand new membership. We did stop at the service desk because online it does state that you can pick up an actual card even though I had my digital membership ready to go but since I had never used it I wasn't sure what to expect and if it would work. After waiting in line for about 15 minutes because they only had two Service representatives there at the desk. I was told that they don't give out membership cards anymore cuz they're switching to all digital. Which is fine but I wish I would have known that cuz I would have not had to waste all that time.

But the person that assisted me was very nice and she was kind and explained how to use it and how you can just shop and pay with the app direct into your cart so you don't have to stand and what was by the time we finished a long line to check out so that part was a super easy breeze. Not exactly sure how the system works but when you're done paying for it on the app you get a QR code which I wasn't sure what to do with. I thought I had to show it to the person that checks you out at the very last door, but you do walk through these huge scanners kind of like at the airport and they must somehow pick it up because I showed her the QR code and she didn't scan it or anything. She said I was good to go. So easy and breezy.

The store seem to be stocked quite well and it was very clean. The quality of the items looked good. Some of the same stuff that I find at the other Warehouse clubs that I belong to but there were also some different items too so that was pleasing. I did like that they had a small butcher area to get some fresh meats and fishes.
We did not go down every aisle but most of them and found most of the basic stuff that you would find elsewhere.
So except for the weight to get in. And of course a crowded parking lot. Once you leave because it's right at the beginning area of The villages, I would definitely be back.

Do not buy your tires from Sam's Club!!!!!
I purchased my tires online. They were supposed to be at Sam's Club within 5 to 7 business days. At 14th day I tried calling Sam's Club. No one at the tire center would answer the phone and the call was transferred to a international call center. Besides not being able to understand the accent all they did was try to call the store directly. That's what I did. The tires finally came in 3 weeks after they were ordered. Couldn't get a hold of the store to set up an appointment so I had to make a special trip. A week later I Arrived to my appointment time 20 minutes early. After waiting nearly an hour past my appointment time I told him to cancel my order and refund my money. Was told since they were purchased online I needed to call to cancel the order. It could not be done in the store. Total nightmare buying tires from Sam's Club.

They have three Tire Bays but only one car at a time. Don't waste your time with Sam's Club. Go elsewhere. Life is too short

After shopping only Sam's Club for the past 8 years I don't even want to step foot in the store again after this buying experience. I just wasted $100 renewing my membership last week and lost hours of my life I will never get back. Costco here I come.

Follow up.
Went to a regular tire store in Bushnell Florida. My tires were at the shop within 24 hours. Without an appointmentent I pulled up. They said pull in Bay one. Within 30 minutes all four tires were done. That is how to run a tire business.

Peanut oil I purchased ruptured in my pantry. I used about 7 towels bath towels I purchased at Sam's to clean off my floor. Management made it clear it's not their problem. Horrible customer service and lack of wanting to do anything in any way to help a member. Member since 1993. Never will renew again with the total lack of responsibility their own branded item did to my house. Cost me at least $100 to clean this mess. Avoid this place, and it's horrible management. BJs is right down the road, and Costco is coming soon!

Great trip with a friend to Sam's Club. Very happy with variety and quality of merchandise. Short waits to check out. Employees seem to be familiar with product locations throughout the store. Freshly roasted chickens are large and plump. Taste great. Prices overall are terrific. Will definitely shop again at Sam's

Always find what I'm looking for. Found a bunch of good stuff for the holidays today at Sam's. I was there early enough to catch them rolling fresh sushi rolls. The fresh meat and seafood counter is great. Highly recommend checking out your local Sam's club.

I seriously expected better. Applied to all the job you both posted online and said in store were needed to be filled asap, 7 positions. 3 of which the manager said I’d be a good fit for. Told me you’d get back to be within 24 hours. I’m down the road less then 5 mins, wiling to do all hours, any pay, any day with years of prior experience doing the same basic duties…. kept me on the hook for nearly a month long . Every week declining each job position rather than all at once. Disappointing… just be honest with people. If i wasn’t a good fit so be it.. don’t keep promises for over a month guy like yikes. I would of loved to work at this location but from the misdirection and being bluntly lied too and seeing that they hired a young adult barely out of high school made me rather depressed and not confident with the running management.
