I just picked up my 1998 bay craft flats edition from Bear boats and fiberglass repair, I highly recommend Nick and his team. On my boat I just bought it had some bare fiberglass on the keel and and the trailer had an issue, I called Nick and brought my boat by for him to look at it, he told me the work that needed to be done. I told him my budget and not only did he work with me I told him I had a tournament I wanted to fish this weekend and he was able to get the job knocked out! I will definitely be back for any other work I need done and highly recommend to anyone that needs anything done! Tell him John Rando sent you!

Nick is the brain surgeon of Fiberglass! He exudes confidence and competence.
I took my 45 year old 17 ‘ Boston Whaler Montauk to Bear Boats fiberglass and repair to meet Nick and have him look at the deck. He determined that lots of the original wood under the deck had rotted. There was also other damage on the bow.
Nick thoroughly explained what he had found and what the options were for repair. He was so knowledgeable and articulate. It was like listening to a podcast of a Master Class in fiberglass repair. He was always promptly responsive to calls or text. He and his team are extremely skilled at boat repair. They all really know what they are doing.
All the work on my boat was done in a timely manner as promised. We are also adding Aqua Traction flooring, which will be installed next week. Additionally, they detailed and buffed out the hull inside and out. I am so glad that I found Nick to take care of the “Little Jesster“.

Sorry this is long over due! A few months ago I gave Nick a call for repair and he told me to bring it. In a short time did a complete resurface with gel coat, fixed cracks in the transom, and new steering wheel. Plus a few other small things. Definitely go see Nick and his crew! Nick an crew were AWESOME!!!!! knowledgeable and fair,
Had an incident on a Friday with my boat, dropped it off that day and I had it back within a week. Kept me updated on progress and even washed my boat for pick up..
Definitely be using them for future accidents. Let's hope I don't have any though... BTW it's like it never happened!!

Nick and his team corrected a DIY job I did on a 1998 14' Edgewater. Not only did they do a fantastic job, they cleaned up the small mess I made and did it for for a reasonable price. The pictures tell the story but I would whole heartedly recommend this business to anyone looking to repaint their boat. Most of the quotes I got from SC and South Florida were for more than the boat was worth.

I would highly recommend using Bear Boats for any boat repairs, I had a big chunk of gel coat and fiber glass taken out of the corner of my boat by a bolt and they got it repaired within 2 days. Very fair on price and easy to deal with. Nick made himself available anytime I reached out. I am very happy I decided to use these guys.
